Average at best. Beds were small and room was stale. The roof top bar is awesome except the second night it had a bad smell. The drinks were expensive and small but the roof was nice. Conference rooms were nice but the AV system was horrible. They did do amazing lunches. If your having a meeting wouldn't be my first choice but overall not bad.

From the moment we arrived we were treated very well. The Valet was very kind in helping my mother into the hotel. Once inside we were greeted and offered complimentary champagne. The room was clean and the bed comfy. I was "guest of the day " which meant they upgraded us to a suite, sent us an amenity, paid our parking and gave us access to the club lounge. The staff was so friendly and polite.

Stayed for a night, and was quite impressed with the service. The Hotel is internally connected to the Sheraton, and so was quite busy. The location is about a mile from the main central Charlotte district, but easily walkable if you don't mind walking.

My stay at the Le Meridien was excellent. When I arrived the whole front desk staff (Nay,Capricia,Lucas, Tajeena and the Manager Caeser) were amazing! I was greated with a warm welcome and they truly made me feel as if I was the most important guest. They completely outdid themselves with the customer service. Also there was a staff memberJennifer who I did not get to meet but she took care of everthing my mom had asked for via telephone and I want to acknowledge her as well. The hotel is beautiful, Great uptown location and I can not wait to return.

Le Meridien and Sheraton share a space right next to downtown charlotte. Great price, trendy renovation, comfy beds, great steakhouse restaurant and rooftop bar with fabby craft beer! Very close to Panther stadium, too. Highly recommended

I have been staying regularly at the Meridien for the past year and a half. As a business traveler, I appreciate the fact that, once the staff knows that you are a regular, they try to make your stay as comfortable as they can. It's the little things that count; for you instance trying to keep you in the same room as often as they can, little gifts for birthdays and other milestones etc, company appreciation months, etc. All the employees strive to make you feel like you're home and not in a random hotel. This week, upon my arrival and while checking in, I was discussing with Lucas at the reception and when he found out that my wife was joining me later in the week, he offered me an upgraded room so we could enjoy our stay ! As I said earlier, it's those little things that keep me coming back. Appreciate all the attention and great work that the Meridien staff ( especially Lucas this time) displays constantly. Hats off, you just confirm the reasons why I am a regular.

From check in to check out the hotel is a pretty visually cool looking hotel with average staff. Lobby: The lobby of the Le Meridien is stunning and very swanky but comfortable. It has a steak restaurant and bar in it. Some decent seating areas too. The hallways are quiet and cool looking. Transportation: My friends and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend on a quick layover in Charlotte and loved the actual comfort of the hotel. Its adjoined with the Sheraton next door which is kind of handy. A taxi ride was $27 each way, Uber would have been cheaper if that is important to you. When we went to get a taxi early in the morning the front desk couldn't help us. That did not impress me. Rooms: We stayed on the 14th floor facing the city on SPG preferred level. The rooms are average to small size, but again beautifully appointed with furniture, wall paper, tile, and so on. Most people don't notice things like this but this is one of those cool hotels but the actual craftsmanship is in the toilet. Small things like holes in the wall where the door hits the wall. Wall paper is peeling off in corners but most people wont notice those things until this hotel is older. Our room had 2 FULL beds, NOT QUEENS, as the room couldn't handle that size. The tiny beds are super comfortable. But again tiny. Bathroom: The tiny bathroom is well appointed and well lighted. Love the tiny shower with its chrome fixtures and modern tile. Great products too. Service: The service was adequate as we were not there that long we didn't interact with the staff that much but as I said we did call down for help with transportation back to the airport and they were pretty much you figure that out. Also when I called to check out from my room they couldn't or wouldn't so I had to stop at the front desk. As someone who travels a lot that annoys me. But I am pickier than most people. The staff in the restaurant were extremely nice and professional! It was a fun experience, just not the absolute best!

Not what I expected in a Le Meridien property. This could have been any mid-range generic chain hotel. Do not stay on the 17th floor on the weekend, the music from the bar on the 18th floor will keep you up until 1am. I had to move to the 8th floor. As a result, I was able to confirm that the problems with the 17th floor room were also true on the 8th floor. The closet rod is not attached so when you try to hang things it easily falls to the floor with all the hangers. Also the water pressure and temperature was minimal and lukewarm in both rooms. Another guest in the hallway also asked if there was a problem with the hot water so evidently this was hotel wide. Not a premium property.

From the moment I was greated warmly at the front desk by Winta my experience was started. She was spectacular to say the least! From her personality and that warm smile of reassurance that personally resenated with me. My rooms were amazing which made my guests very happy as well. I can't say enough about it but what I will say is that was the best experience I've had since joining Starwood 15 years ago. She (Winta) is a gem!!!! I will definitely come back next year at the same time!!!

The interior design of this hotel is stunning right when you walk in. It is very different from other hotels and feels fun and very chic/hip. The service and rooms are all top quality and the location is fantastic - easy to get in and out of and all around Charlotte from. In the summer -- you can't beat the outdoor pool and cabana area and connected social club. The rooftop bar is a chic place to go year round and the Evoke restuarant just happens to be one of the best restaurants in Charlotte. Can't beat this place for personal or business travel. There also happens to be massive spaces with meeting rooms and rooms for conference or conventions -- Would be really good for weddings or business events.
