If not for the excellent location and decent staff and somewhat clean, this place was outdated, unkempt, and rooms really needed updating, especially the bath room and shower. Get rid of those theft resistant hangers with no hooks

The only pro is the walkable area. The rooms are very outdated with extension cords running through the wall from bathroom to sleeping area. Advertised with balcony, which is false. Staff doesn't even greet guests when entering building. I have stayed in at least four hotels in Asheville, will never stay here again. Oh, the mattress was nice.

Convenient location, but terrible staff

Convenient location, reasonably priced. Building is a little worn out but rooms are clean and ours had been updated. Only negative was surly, resentful desk clerk who acted like she’d rather be anywhere else. To make it worse, she had a screaming baby with her at the desk.

When I stay at a hotel, I just don't want to see bugs or past guest pubic hairs and...yeah. unfortunately, pubes on one of the towels and a small roach or roach like creature was crawling on a pillow of the bed I was about to get in. I couldn't stay there again or recommend it for those two issues alone.

Bad And Good stay.

Limited parking spaces but there were overflow parking from nearby lots with vouchers. Staff failed to explain in detail and also did not provide the voucher causing me to double pay. The breakfast was frozen croissant and other usual DIY waffles, cereal and juices from the bottles. The in room safe was laying bare!! on the floor in the vanity area which was a concern. The good thing was that it was close to the restaurants that you could easily walk to.

This is a motel with doors opening to the outside. As a result (and because the door wasn’t airtight) it was quite loud. The place is dated and basic but did have a fridge and microwave. The room was clean and we appreciated that it was downtown and had parking. Breakfast was fine.

It was right down the road from the event hall. Close enough to walk to. Downtown was a fun with some really good food. Front desk was helpful and made getting check in a breeze.

Great location

Hotel was the perfect location to walk around downtown and easily get to a lot of dining and shops. It was very quiet on the back side of the hotel where we stayed and I would stay again.

The hotel is on the older side, but very good for the price. The parking is limited, but they have overflow parking available that is close. Breakfast was simple, but good. The location is right downtown and super convenient to walk to everything.
