Ideal location. Old, somewhat worn out hotel but a good value for the money

Just had a great vibe about it. The staff were all friendly and seemed to really appreciate my business.

It was like a hostel instead of a hotel, however, the staff was very nice.

Excellent place to stay when visiting Down Town Asheville you can walk every place and save a Lot of money

Description said balcony with city view, the balcony was the hallway as well, not a private balcony. City view was a food service building. Limited onsite parking, had to park in a lot a half a block away. Was very disappointed

We loved free breakfast until 11:30! Also walking distance to a lot of bars and restaurants

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Ckose to restaurants and the Orange Peel.

Less than friendly check in staff. Building is VERY old and needs to be completely renovated, not just remodeled. Parking is VERY limited. Very dated building.

You're paying only for the location, which makes this hotel worth it. Everything else about the hotel is mediocre.

Great place very convenient was clean and staff friendly

The room had fleas and I was bit all night. I told the management; however, they did not offer to do anything (i.e. discount, move me to another room). On top of that, they took a designer shirt that was on the bed when they changed the laundry. The street noise is also very loud and the breakfast the worst I have seen in any hotel. The front desk staff was nice. The only positive was the location which is close to restaurants and stores. I will never stay there again.

I really liked the location of the hotel. It was very conviennt to everything downtown. What I didnt like was the bed was super hard! It was like skeeping on the floor! The hotel could use some updating. Everything is very old and worn out. The parking was very tight but we didnt have to move the car once we were there.

The hotel is in a great location and has so much potential. It's not in bad shape, not every part of the hotel is dilapidated, but it does need updated. D2qq

Nice location had a great stay parking is the only concern when staying here other than that great place

Its really close to downtown, you can walk to everything. its not fancy is a motel not a hotel but the location and price compared to everything else in the area makes it a value

Our family arrived Monday afternoon 3 hours prior to check-in. While our room was obviously not ready, they were accommodating to us and checked us in so that we could use their complimentary free parking which is awesome since free parking in Downtown is hard to come by. We walked around Downtown and checked out the small shops to pass time before going back to the motel. We got back around 3 PM, an hour before check-in, but they had a room ready for us by then. The lady working the desk, upon seeing we had a one year old, moved us to a room at the rear of the motel where it was quieter. The overall condition of the motel was dated, but it is noticeable that they have been investing in upgrading it. The pool was really kept up with crystal clear water and spray features that our daughter absolutely loved. The complimentary breakfast offered each morning, while was nothing to rave about, provided all the basic items including toast, bagels, yogurt, cereal, waffles, fruit, and Jimmy Dean sandwiches. Motel rooms were equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, ironing boards, and safes. We cannot speak enough about the friendliness of the cleaning staff who greeted us every morning and efficiently cared for our room. Our overall review of the motel and property is that we were pleased with the stay. Yes, the property is dated and shouldn't be considered a "boutique", but the staff were friendly and accommodating, the price was fair, and it is a great location in Downtown.

The location is ideal; the property is clean; friendly staff. For an outdated hotel is continues to hold its own.

dumpy...one star hotel in a 5 star location. better to find an airbnb

The Downtown of Asheville is made of many business service buildings. Sorry we cannot change it. We are among the lowest rate hotels in Asheville and provide free parking by leasing extra parking space at very expensive rate. Finding a single parking on any day in Downtown is very difficult.

Thank you for staying with us.Recently, we have made many significant investments in the property. For example, we have stocked our guest rooms with new furniture, carpet, mattresses, wallpaper and appliances. We also installed a new parking lot elevator adjacent elevator that gives our guests quick access to their rooms from the parking lot at the cost of $500,000. We have installed new RFID electronic lock on all of our guest room doors. We have also installed new heating/ ac mini split units in all our rooms at the cost of $450,000. We have installed a new roof on the main building at a cost of $250,000. We are in the process of installing a fire sprinkler system and alarm system at the cost of $350,000. Unfortunately, we cannot provide all guests with onsite parking. But we do always guarantee free parking either onsite, or in one of our overflow lots which are all less than half a block away.
