Great location right downtown. Room was in decent condition. I wasnt expecting a 5 star place based on the price and it wasn't. That said it was a good stay and a good value.

This place is a dump. Worse than any of the lower priced motels. And it cost 200 including tax. Very limited parking, weird procedures (insisted on ID from everyone in the party, 5 dollar charge for not returning the key) Very basic rundown rooms using an air freshner to mask the musty moldy air. Curt staff, singulary unhelpful. AC did not work at all.Decrept building. Honestly, the worst place I have stayed in 65 years There is nothing on the website to indicate how bad and rundown it is. I would have gladly paid 100 dollars more for one of the chain hotels

Place is a dump, but it’s clean enough snd cheaper than other downtown hotels. I’m sure that someday soon it’ll be sold, knocked down and replaced with a far more expensive hotel. Until then, enjoy a barely adequate, relatively cheap stay in downtown Asheville.

I liked that the room was clean, clean bedding. I also liked the onsite parking and the location to downtown.

Although the location was excellent the hotel really needs to be pressure washed inside and out

This hotel is certainly neither modern nor luxurious. The location is perfect. We stayed here on a multi-day cycling trip and this hotel was the best -- and the cheapest. Five USB ports in the room. A full breakfast. All appliances and amenities in working order. A room that was clean. Right in the middle of downtown. Definitely would stay again.

The property is very close to restaurants, bars, breweries and shopping. The room was clean and equipped with everything you need for a weekend or even longer stay. It has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, safe, ironing board, hair dryer and tv. Breakfast was adequate with waffles, cereal, bagels, fruit, coffee, juice and microwave breakfast sandwiches. We did not use the pool though because we were too busy exploring the area. This hotel is about 8 minutes from the Biltmore estate ticket office. I will definitely stay here again.

Great location! Room had been recently renovated.

Great location! Great price! Hotel is a bit old but overall very clean and great price for the downtown location. A few minute walk to everything.

Grandson left his new clothing in a bag in the room. Housekeeping did not turn in the bag containing. Very disappointing in them.

It's conveniently located and walkable to anywhere downtown. The property is old and needs updating.

Ideal location. Old, somewhat worn out hotel but a good value for the money

Just had a great vibe about it. The staff were all friendly and seemed to really appreciate my business.

It was like a hostel instead of a hotel, however, the staff was very nice.

Excellent place to stay when visiting Down Town Asheville you can walk every place and save a Lot of money

Description said balcony with city view, the balcony was the hallway as well, not a private balcony. City view was a food service building. Limited onsite parking, had to park in a lot a half a block away. Was very disappointed

We loved free breakfast until 11:30! Also walking distance to a lot of bars and restaurants

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Ckose to restaurants and the Orange Peel.

This seams to be an irrate guest that stayed on a peak weekend during the spring/summer. Our rates are 50%-60% lower than other hotels located in downtown area. Recently, we have made many significant investments in the property. For example, we have stocked our guest rooms with new furniture, carpet, mattresses, wallpaper and appliances. We also installed a new parking lot elevator adjacent elevator that gives our guests quick access to their rooms from the parking lot at the cost of $500,000. We have installed new RFID electronic lock on all of our guest room doors. We have also installed new heating/ ac mini split units in all our rooms at the cost of $450,000. We have installed a new roof on the main building at a cost of $250,000. We have installed fiber Internet services at the cost of $30,000. We have installed a fire sprinkler system and alarm system at the cost of $350,000. We have also replaced the lobby floor, lobby furniture, and lobby pictures. We are also redoing the entrance to the hotel. We are proud to offer all guests a complimentary breakfast every morning. This consists of hot sausage egg and cheese croissants, fresh waffles, cereals, fresh fruit, bagels, coffee, tea, juices, and more. We are the only downtown hotel that provides free parking to all our guests. Unfortunately, we cannot provide all guests with onsite parking. But we do always guarantee free parking either onsite, or in one of our overflow lots which are all less than half a block away. For security purposes with get the ID of each adult that is staying at our hotel. Our hotel has had no crime reported in the last 25 years.
