I got to the hotel on Saturday 12/30/26 at 2:44pm to check-in and was informed by Brandi that my room was not ready and for me to grab lunch, come back in about 30 minutes and your room should be ready. I go to Chili's for lunch, come back at 3:55pm waited in a long line to finally get to the counter and was told that my room was not ready by a gentleman with dreadlocks; so, at this time I very upset. I go sit in the lobby from driving 4 hours, and at this point, I all I want to do is shower and relax. I sat in the lobby until about 4:48pm, when the guy with dreadlocks saw me, and approached me asking me was my last name again; which I gave to him, he said that my room was ready. At this point I went from being upset to be angry, he apologized that it literally took 2 hours to get check-in to a room which I should have been checked in at 3:00pm, he gave me a 20.00 voucher to the bar, and a parking pass, needless to say, that I already paid the 17.16 for overnight parking. I get to my room, the leather on the arm of the chair is peeling off, the white blanket was dirty, this just got me angrier, and the sad part about it, management don't care. From the outside looking in on this particular day the employees don't care, Brandi was as nice, and the guy with dreadlocks tried to be accommodated, but at this point what can you say to me that will make the matter better. I don't need an apology stated that you apologize on behalf of your team; I want you all to do better.
