We stayed in Charlotte and spent several nights at this extended stay hotel. It would be very helpful for future patrons if the fact that the front desk is closed for check-ins after 11:00 PM was made clearer somewhere. We arrived just minutes before as the clerk was closing the window. A couple arrived after us who said they even had a reservation but were turned away. Next night, same thing. We happened to be in the lobby and saw several travelers with reservations turned away or arriving to a closed office with nowhere to stay, so I know it wasn't just us who missed the open hours. The room was spartan but nice and clean. The bed had crisp clean linens and slept very well. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was very nice.I like the fact that the rooms did not have carpet. That made the room seem much cleaner. The refrigerator was great-huge for a hotel room and we actually had a little electric range top in the room as well! Nice advantages to staying at an extended stay hotel. The only other concern was the activity late at night. There was a distinctive odd odor in the hallway at night and cars circling in the parking lot quite a bit at night. Also police officers sat outside most of the night and an officer was stationed in the lobby, armed I believe. Overall though not a bad stay. The hotel staff were very personable.

The Managers James & Tremaine were acceptionly nice. They make you feel welcome & at home. Every other employee had the same kind of vibe the managers have. They make you feel good about your self & feel at home. The maintenance guy even went out of his way to greet you & be nice. A+For the staff. Now on to the room. The rooms were nice & spacious. Have a really great dish tv package. Even the nfl package. Cook top stoves. Great price for for your stay. NO BUGS!!! Totally happy & recommend to everyone. Thanks guys for a great stay! Will definitely be back when we come to Charlotte. Thank You

Obviously not an all out frills IS an extended stay after all. Do wish there was complimentary coffee, even just in the lobby...with as full as the parking lot stays surely it can be afforded. The bed and pillows are hard, not very comfortable. The kitchenette in the room is a nice bonus. Great place for people working in the area, not so much for a family trip.

I will start by giving credit to the front desk staff upon arrival. She was courteous, smiled and wooded hard to try to rectify a bad situation. We selected this establishment on a referral. We get our keys go to the room and immediately, which is our norm, start pulling back the covers. There are all kinds of hair IN the beds pubic and all. Ok so my husband going to the front desk to request the linen be changed out. She offered to just put us in another room so my hubby goods to the other room and the window has busted out and staff had no idea so their alternative was to give us abort set of linen for US to change out and low and behold they are yellow and spotted. Ok so then the free offer of wifi, NOT. It didn't work at all, the room phone did not work, two lamps in the room didn't work and We were only afforded one set of linen as they closed the office the next day. Beyond the first, were there 3 horrible nights, day staff needs CS training. If only I would have researched and not taken my sister word. I was very, very, very disappointing and I'd sleep in my car before paying my hard earned money to Suburban again.

When we go there, some Hispanic worker was vacuuming so I couldn't hear the front desk person..I wanted to give her a broom. The place was crowded with Hurricane Matthew evacuees. The room barely fit the 3 of us. The beds are very well slept in. It had 2 burners & one burner didn't work. The people above us were VERY noisy. On the day we were suppose to checkout, a staff member came to our to see if we were leaving. The second time, I asked "Isn't checkout at 12" & she stated it was really at 11 when there is a sign in the room that CLEARLY says checkout is at 12. Never again will I stay here & I would not recommend it to anyone.

Checked in without any issues. Apparently there are several long term guests that stay there. One walked up while I was checking in and interrupted the conversation with I was having with the staff. I booked a room with 2 double beds and indicated there would be 4 guests in the room. There were two towels and two wash cloths in the bathroom. More on that later. So I get the key and walk down the hall to the room and the hall smelled like WEED smoke. I thought my kids would get a contact high from walking through the hall. Get in the room and there is no carpeting, the trim under the counter is missing. Supposedly recently renovated. I hate to see what it looked like before the renovation. So, my husband and I left the babysitter and two kids in the room while we went out to a show. Decided to get towels the next morning as the office was supposed to open at 7am. 7:05 no staff, 7:15 no staff, 7:25, the front desk staff comes strolling in. No apology for being late, nothing. I am an early riser, so I was outside waiting for the staff to come in at 7 after making a trip to the 7-11 to get coffee. There was no coffee maker in the room. They do offer coffee you can buy from a machine, which I considered until, I saw that the coffee was 1.25 for a 6oz Styrofoam cup. Really? Really. Um, will not stay there ever again. tldr;Towels were hard and stiff. Cigarette burns on the sink. Weed smell in the halls, inattentive and tardy staff, this place sucks.

We chose this location because of the proximity to our relatives. We checked in on 4/22/2016 and checked out on 4/24/2016. From the beginning, it was a sketchy experience. First of all, the lady who checked me in, had the worst attitude. Everything was said with an edge to it. Not nice at all. Then when we got to our room, it was my 2 sisters and I, there was only 1 wash cloth and 2 bath towels. When we asked for additional cloths and 1 additional towel, she told us she couldn't help us because whatever is in the room, is all we get?! Seriously? So, we got additional towels from our relatives to use at the hotel. It wasn't until Sunday, that we noticed there was blood on the shower curtain. It was up high and since we are all rather short of stature, we didn't notice it. It was only a spot, but that let us know they didn't clean the curtain. There was also a water bottle left in plain sight, and food left in the freezer. While we do understand they are a 'no frills' hotel, we didn't think no frills means not cleaning properly. I did address these issues with the gentleman at the counter, upon checkout. He was nice enough to discount the room for us because of these issues. Still, it's not about that. Its about a good clean room to stay in and not having to be inconvenienced by non-caring front desk workers with bad attitudes, which the lady who checked me in, was. I won't ever stay there or at any Suburban property again. Yuck!

Came here because there was a street wide power outage and all of the hotels were booked for CIAA. THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL however they gave me a key to a already occupied room. I have two small children who almost walked in on a grown man! They have me another room, as dirty as the first (there was blood and a booger on the sheets). Went there out of desperation,staying away out of fear.

I am a truck driver and I stay at hotels everywhere. This hotel is extremely clean and comfortable for the money. They are in the process of renovating and will soon have new carpeting as well as several other changes. Portia, at the front desk, is awesome. She remembers my name every time and makes me feel very welcome and at home.

The carpet in the rooms is very dirty. If you put clean socks on, the bottom of your socks will turn brown after a short time. The grout on the tile bathroom floors is almost black too. This is a 3 story building, yet there is only one ice machine on the first floor. They charge $25 a night for a roll away bed. No hair dryer. No Continental Breakfast. There is a coffee machine in the room, but no coffee packets. The housekeeping staff doesn't speak fluent english, I asked for an extra bath towel, and house keeping didn't understand. In regards to my bill, I got two different prices form two different front desk staff. I found other guests noisy.
