The smell of the hotel was awful. Very dirty stairs. The room was with broken light switched. Bed sheet has cigarette holes. Bathroom sing and tub have cigarette burn marks. Hallway rugs have stains with the size of a human body. People were talking outside all night. it did not like a safe place. Tear it down!

Bad neighborhood. Food, dirt, burn holes in the sheets. Carpet turns white socks black in trip across the room. T.V. older than dirt. Nice staff at the desk. Laundry guy was walking around with a cigarette in his mouth (not lit) and looked like he was on drugs. Hotel smelled strongly like marijuana. Ic we werent dead tired and checking in late, we would have left.

Easy access to points of interest in the Charlotte area

The room was very small and basic, and just seemed dirty and run down. The hotel staff was kind enough to allow me to cancel the reservation when I communicated that I didn't want to stay here. There are better options for a similar or slightly higher price in the area.

I arrived to some your dudes that look shady and since I am from NYC, The Bronx, I know when a hotel is a drug spot or prostitution ring. I went for snacks in the morning before I left and more shady looking dudes walking into the hotel at 9AM, I thought that was strange. Anyway, lock your doors and keep your pistol on deck.

The staff was pleasant and helpful but the hotel is in disrepair. The dresser drawer had duct tape holding it together. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling from the water damage and mold. The bed was not comfortable. Pay a little more and go somewhere else.

My stay at this hotel was in fact horrible! My room was changed three times. The first room I was assigned to when I tried to open the door after the I put the key in, the door would not open. I went up And down the elevator a total of four times with different instructions on how to get the door open. On my fourth trip, the front desk associate stated she would give me a different room. The second room is where the issue arose. While getting up to go use the bathroom I noticed a bug crawling from under the pillow. I then pulled the entire cover off the bed to discover about 10 more little tiny black bugs! I called the front desk and informed them and someone came to check it. They again gave me another room. I checked this room throughly and everything was fine except the fact that there were no towels, no toiletries or anything in the room. This is not a place I would recommend to anyone! Do not stay in this hotel!

The room was small but okay the pillows all were very unconfortable

For a one star hotel it was about what you'd expect. Not very clean. Not new at all. Staff was helpful but not dry attentive. Location was pretty good which made it liveable. Probably won't be staying here again.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times. It's not a fancy 4 star hotel but it gets the job done for whatever purpose. When I'd like to get away and need some me time I go there. Some things could be better as far as working tv, better sheets (no burn holes)... overall i get what i pay for.

Other than false fire alarms and police visits it actually wasn't bad

A very filthy place to stay. Roaches and bugs on dresser and in bath tub. The sheets were dirty. Floor was not vacuumed and the door knobs are dirty. There is no deal with cheap. Spend a little get a lot. Safe travels

You get what you pay for. The hotel could use a little updating, but we stayed there basically just to sleep. Went to a concert at Ovens Auditorium, 15 min drive, came back, slept, got up and left the next morn. For the price, it was the best bargain. Bed, TV and Bath is really all you get, but it was all we needed. Hope this helps.

Here's a perfect example of getting what you paid for. The room was ok. Nothing special. The continental breakfast is non existent. Better off going to one of the neighboring restaurants.

A mans place. Do not look in the corners. Its ok, but has seen heavy to moderate use in its 16 years, and it shows. Was good enough for me for 4 nights, and i might go back. I missed an in room coffee maker and daily supplies the most. The bed was kinda smashed, but i can sleep on a board. The included simple breakfast was decent for the room price. The clientel were seasoned people, some scary... but the room and building service was ok. Counter reception is courteous. Only take the wife here if you have to. It is a great close location for anything you may need from any retail chain, big and small. Otherwise i enjoyed the deal. Independaence Hwy (74) traffic really sucks, most all day. Rush hours horrible. Good Luck, The rooms a mans kinda clean and condidion.

It was ok to sleep for the price it was clean an the beds were comfortable I would stay again

The room was large, beds were comfortable. Shower was great. The continental breakfast left a little to be desired but was ok. Staff, with the little we dealt with them, were pleasant. Location to our destinations was great. It was right in the middle of a lot of restaurants and shopping. For a reasonable place to sleep, it was great.

The lady at the desk was very professional and had good customer service. Motel sits behind a Bojangles and Wendy's which is convenient to walk to get a bite to eat. There are numerous retail and other restaurants in that area. It's a straight shot to Nascar Hall of Fame which was good for us. Motel sits just enough off the road for it to be quiet. Room was small, but very clean. Good for the money! Would stay there again!

the staff was fanastic , just wish they had more selection for breakfast . It's nothing fancy , but the staff makes up for it .It was in a good location , great price .would certanily stay again .

hotel sheets had blood stains, wall paper had glue on it pictures had no resemblence to what hotel looked like
