Property is very clean and in good condition. Very comfortable mattress and bedding in our king size bed. I like the convenience of a microwave and fridge in the rooms. Breakfast was acceptable too (although it was missing some items in my view: fresh fruit, homemade granola, skim milk).
The property was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and always asked if we needed anything. I will recommend this property to anyone.

Thé bed was comfortable and the room was quiet - the good part. The not-so-good part was that no housekeeping was done during my entire stay and the room decor was very tired looking and unattractively dark.

The bed was comfortable and the room ok. The lady who served breakfast was very pleasant but the food itself was limited to a poor quality omelet or oatmeal and small dry danish. No dry cereals or decaf coffee. The health club and pool were closed...nothing else to do.

There was music playing from the room next to me and after 9 pm. I had requested another room or have the music stopped so that we could sleep. Staff said no need to change rooms and they’d take care of it but it did not stop. Was in first floor close to lobby and check in and should have been easy enough to keep a check on but didn’t happen. Between that and the door to stairwell door at second floor along with the continued stomping down the hall above, I got very little sleep. The hotel was nice, breakfast and amenities were all good, but the music was a problem from when I first stepped into the room and I immediately spoke to the person at the front desk to move and avoid a problem but was not handled to anyone’s satisfaction.
I found the staff pleasant and eager to please the guest, cleanliness was impressive. The free breakfasts were ok, the choices were somewhat limited. I’ve been visiting family in Matthews NC and I return to the Holiday Inn Express twice a year for the past five or six years.
