Staff friendly but hotel needs a deep cleaning! Never coming back!

Deadbolt on door was missing, shower rod barely hanging, bath/shower dirty. Felt unsafe and dirty. Needs updating. Carpet in room was gross.

I liked the easy access to the hotel and it's close proximity to the Duke campus. I booked the room for my son and I to attend a Duke basketball game. I liked the quiet setting of the hotel. I did not like the bed or the bedding. It was uncomfortable to sleep on and I did not have a comforter on my bed. I did not like the pre-checkin that did not work. I had to stand in line waiting for the poor guy behind the counter while he tried to figure out how to work the computer and charge me an extra $200 incident fee. I did not like the fact that there was no remote control for the tv in my room and I had to make a trip downstairs to ask the same guy behind the counter for a remote control. However, I did appreciate the maintenance guy bringing me one very quickly. For one night, it was an ok experience.

The sheets were obviously never changed the bathroom was not cleaned properly and the lady at the front desk was extremely rude

Hotel staff was nice but not overly pleasant. The hotel was a bit rundown and the room was a little dirty. The refrigerator hadn’t been cleaned out from the previous occupant, had to call and ask them to do that. It looks like it was a very pretty hotel at one time, but just really looked run down.

They only gave one bath cloth, asked for additional they said housekeeping was gone for the day and it was 7pm. The bathtub was dirty (pubic hairs and open soap from previous occupant in tub) and the sprinkler had been leaking often enough to where there were brown stains on the wall from where the water was running. Damage on another wall to where it was chipped and scratched in a few places. Stains on the pillow cases.

Everything was good

Unfortunately, they were understaffed however the staff they did have were very pleasant. The hotel big and can be a bit confusing it would be nice to offer a map of the property.

Terrible experience my wife and I was sleeping apparently they gave my room to someone else and they were trying to get into our room at 10 o’clock at night and I had an argument with the people saying it was their room shouldn’t of happened it was horrible experience

The hot tub was drained and the pool looked dirty. This was disappointing because it was the main reason for choosing this location.

Location for hospitals. Indoor pool and spa nice. Warnings that restaurant and bar would be closed due to Covid should have been on website.

It’s a beautiful facility!!! Everything was great!
