We only stayed one night, and everything seemed good for the price we were paying. However, when we asked at the front desk about how the rooms were being cleaned in light of COVID-19, we were told that "they are sanitizing things" and "the rooms are just, like, being cleaned," which wasn't very reassuring. There were several surfaces in the room that didn't seem like they had been sanitized/cleaned (e.g. visible fingerprints), which wouldn't otherwise be a problem if we weren't in a global pandemic. It would have been nice to be more explicitly informed about the exact measures being taken for our safety, as other businesses have been doing (e.g. "all surfaces and towels/sheets in the room are being sanitized and all cleaning staff are wearing masks"). We were glad to see that they were not serving breakfast due to COVID-19, though.

The parking spaces were much too narrow. Bathroom very small. Would have enjoyed something hot for breakfast. Otherwise very nice accommodations.

The staff, including the desk staff were knowledgable, friendly & helpful. The 24 coffee and continental breakfast were nice perks.

Staff wasn't very friendly. We had hot water at the sink but not in the shower.

Clean and really close to Duke Cancer center. A short walk to all Duke Hospital facilities.

The staff is very friendly. There is free shuttle to take you to the campus

I have traveled all of my life and this hotel is a great value and I would certainly stay here again in the future.

If you are looking for absolutely nothing other than a place to sleep and will be gone all day, this could work if you're lucky enough to get quiet next-door-neighbors. The "lobby" is nothing more than a few chairs scattered about and the breakfast choices are all sugar & carbs. The best thing about the University Inn is its location; our conference was on Duke's campus and we were able to walk each morning in about 20 minutes.

Poor sums it up in one word. Just a spot to lay ur head.

My major complaint was that the shades on the window was torn. Which made the room less desirable. Otherwise it was extremely pleasant room and very clean

Very comfortable beds, quite, clean and affordable. Very close to Hospital and Clinics.

Clean room and comfortable furniture. The location was quiet and close to the area I needed to access.

Easy access to a necessary medical facility. Nothing else to add.

My daughter had a job interview at Duke hospital and it was the perfect location. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was very quiet and restful. Just a very short walk to the hospital,

This was a reasonable place at a reasonable price for the area. They had everything I needed and I got a good night's sleep. It's basic, but they offer a decent free breakfast unlike the nearby competition. I would stay here again.
