Noisy - they did not refund me for an experience in which I couldn't sleep there at night. I'm really upset and never want to stay at a La Quinta again.

We liked the lobby area and the set-up of the room. The lady that checked us in was very unfriendly. As soon as I walked in, she did not greet me but rather looked up from what she was doing to tell me to 'hold on a minute'. Our toilet was clogged and the guy that brought us a plunger was helpful. The plunger sat outside our room though for another 2 days after we used it. The door to the bedroom part of our suite had been removed which was an issue for us since we needed the separation so I could sleep after my surgery. The pool was not heated at all and we were not able to use it. The hot tub was fine but not appropriate for my 7 year old. Since the pool was the main reason we chose that hotel, it was quite disappointing. The shower had stains. The breakfast was not good either. The eggs had a very weird taste and the sausage was overcooked. Overall we were quite surprised that this hotel had such high ratings. We are not typically picky people, but this experience was just disappointing.

The staff at this property was extremely rude and insensitive. We were traveling with a dog, we checked pet friendly hotels on orbitz and arrived with our dog. We were given a room on the 4th floor. Long story short, we were woken up at 8:30 in the morning by a really rude man telling us that our dog kept everyone up all night barking (we were there for the night and she barked maybe 2 or 3 times over the course of 15 seconds). He told us we weren’t allowed to have a dog on the fourth floor - we had no idea. He demanded that we move rooms right away (keep in mind we were just woken up a few minutes before on our only morning to sleep in during our trip). He argued with us and then told us we needed to be downstairs right away and stormed off. We went downstairs will all of our stuff packed up, only to be greeted by another rude employee. We were now told that there wasn’t actually a room for us yet. We would have to wait. We’re standing in our pajamas, in the middle of a hotel, with all of our stuff with no place to go back to sleep. The staff members didn’t seem to care. We said we were just going to leave and she kept insisting “you can just leave if you want”. It was the most bizarre experience I’ve ever had from someone in the hospitality industry. I can’t imagine returning to this hotel.

Room wall is razor thin. I could hear neighbor’s conversations and I am sure they can hear ours. Also, you can hear the highway. Pretty noisy. I could understand you couldn’t do much about the highway but the thin walls with a neighboring room is unacceptable.

I like that the facility was very nice and the staff was friendly. The room did not have a refrigerator is my only complaint.

Staff is very nice. Free WiFi. I’d stay there again if in a pinch.

Lost power here for about 4hrs and other then that it was a great 3 night stay.

The shampoo and body wash was way too small. It was not enough for everyone. They need more lounge chairs to lay out in the sun. The breakfast buffet was the same thing both days, no change at all.

The parking lot lights were very bright at night and the light should be directed downward and not into hotel windows.
