Perfect spot on oceanfront. Our stay was great. We highly recommend it.

Room and hallways were shabby and worn out. Room was not cleaned one day. Outdoor trash cans overflowing. Good location. Friendly staff

Hotel needed upgrading, floor was dirty, parking was confusing but it was on the beach

Beautiful and spacious room. Seemed very clean and updated. Wonderful view of the ocean. The staff were very courteous. The wifi was difficult to use, maybe because the hotel is so far out.. The faucet water was very chemically smelling. The restaurant was so so, good enough if you're hungry. The pool is small, but I assume most people go for the beach experience. Overall, this hotel is worth another stay.

This is our favorite place to stay anytime we visit Wilmington or Wrightsville Beach!!!

We utilized this place due to proximity to family in Wilmington. The place had a nice look about it and it was at the end of the road so it was quiet. However the place needs some updating o/w I would use this place again. I would not use in season due to logistics and beach crowds.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect and the views from the room were beautiful! Its a full wall of large windows/sliding door facing the ocean. The beach is nice, the sand is really soft. We saw dolphins playing one day. The bed was too firm for me, I didn't sleep well at all. That's my only complaint. Overall its a great resort.

enjoyed the stay a lot, room could have been cleaner and better equipped, the hotel had the parking garage under construction and a 6.6" hight limit. So if you are like me and drive a full size pickup truck you need to park outside. Unfortunelty there was no room as the construction crew took up part of the parking area, and what few spaces were available were used by small cars that could have parked in the garage. Hence it was very difficult to find parking. The outside parking should be limited to vehicles that cant park in the garage.

Sheets had spots and too expensive to have old rooms, we visited hotel years ago and no updates to rooms. Bed not comfortable for $269 a night - bedroom was not worth the price. Shower were very slow pressure - someone had vomit in the hall way on our arrival and the smell was in the air.. Soon as you got off the elevator and toward our room 205 we saw a GIANT spider probably been there a decade with hairy legs. OVERALL our stay was o.k. - very nice to be close to the beach but the rooms need much improvement.............................

What was great in beach locale was dimished by service and quality on just about every other level. The local water seems to be sourced from a well and is not filtered properly. It affects just about everything from the food to your basic comforts to shower. If you're expecting a fresh flounder and shrimp entree, I'd advise you go elsewhere. Even the mashed potatoes that was served seemed to have been sitting there for some time. We had an odd encounter with the desk receptionist upon check-in who had felt the need to explain why he had to charge an extra $100 on our credit card for incidentals. Then he had the audacity to further suggest that I might be the type to do some manages in his follow up sentence. The nerve of some folks... Very insulting to say the least. I had to let it go for consideration for my wife and knowing I would advise you all later anyway.

We enjoyed out stay at this hotel. It was right on the beach and had two pools.

Wish the layout of the room facilitated more ocean view.

The resort was right on the beach and the oceanfront views are stunning. It's location a bit from the fray was nice. My lunch at the restaurant was quite good. The staff was very pleasant. The room was a bit dated and needed attention...broken lock on the balcony door, burnt out bulbs in the bathroom, plaster repair, old pans in the kitchen that food made food stick, etc. Also the pool and hot tub were closed for 3 weeks which would have been nice to know, since those are important during an off- season stay. While, my room was disappointing, the location made the trip enjoyable.

Stayed here with my toddler daughter for one night in November 2015. The room was beautifully decorated and plenty big enough for just the two of us. The location is amazing and can't be beat, likely the nicest stretch of beach I've been to in NC ever. The hot tub was down for maintenance when we arrived and was fixed the next morning, though it was completely filthy. The indoor pool was warm though also a little dirty - hair and scuzz on the pool deck. The rug in our room needed a thorough vaccuming but otherwise the room was pretty clean. Amazing views from the top floor balcony. If they cleaned the place up and fixed some pool issues, it would be a totally top-notch spot.

We asked the housekeeper to come back a little later and she did not return that day. Other than that, great experience.

Have stayed here 4 or 5 times to visit daughter at UNCW. Always nice especially for the price.

Location was unbelievably beautiful, the floor to ceiling windows allowed for optimum oceanfront view of the ocean, marshes out front door was also awesome ...a little noisy on bedroom side children running back and forth, I slept on the sofa bed, because from this room you can hear the ocean ...the sofa bed was old and not very comfortable, carpet need replacing, but all that is minimal, breakfast was good, dinner was not great. The views made up for so much. Chocolate covered strawberries delivered for my birthday with a birthday card. nice touch...overall would visit again.

Hotel staff was excellent. Room was clean and inspected but had a couple of issues we had to address. Thought it was a bit expensive given age of hotel.

Had an awesome time. Friendly staff. Great food and services. Rooms were clean and had an amazing view of sunset.

For 500 a night you think the hotel staff would have been professional, instead they were too busy on phones, conversing amongst one another, and just ignoring world altogether.
