Clean, quiet, and comfortable with a great restaurant to top it all off.
The hotel is new and near campus. There are still some bugs that they are working out. For example some of the electrical outlets were not functional. Unlike the Washington Duke Hotel across the street, this hotel does not have a parking lot so you need to make sure that you get a parking permit to park in the garage. This is a bit of a hassle. The parking permit only allows 6 in/out. So if you are staying for few days, you will need to make sure that you have a new permit after 6 in/outs.
JB Duke Hotel places you next to Duke University and within a 10-minute stroll of other popular attractions like Cameron Indoor Stadium. This 198-room, 4-star hotel has 2 restaurants along with conveniences like free in-room WiFi and free self parking.
This hotel is home to 2 onsite restaurants, perfect for a quick bite to eat. Order from room service to satisfy your hunger without leaving your room.
JB Duke Hotel's 198 rooms are air-conditioned and provide minibars, coffee makers, and free weekday newspapers. 50-inch flat-screen TVs come with cable channels, and guests can stay connected with free WiFi and wired Internet. Bathrooms offer hair dryers and designer toiletries. Other standard amenities include free local calls, safes, and ironing boards.
At JB Duke Hotel, guests have access to a fitness center, free WiFi in public areas, and a business center. Onsite parking is available, both free self and paid valet parking (USD 20.00 per day)—also useful is a free area shuttle. The 24-hour front desk has staff standing by to help with luggage storage, dry cleaning/laundry, and concierge services.
