The rooms smelled and the floor was wet due to a leak. Also the air was out in the public areas.
Very clean but in desperate need of a remodel. Front desk was very nice. Decent room for 135
Stay here a lot. Everything you need.
Elevator should’ve been fixed in advance for such a busy weekend. Hotel needs to be updated. Otherwise hotel was convenient for dining options & close to the festival.
Parking is $15.00 a day. Very good greek restaurant next door.
The property was incredibly disgusting, the floor was nasty and hadn’t been cleaned in some time in the corridor to my room. Additionally, my shower was super gross, to the point that I ended up showering at the gym instead. The bed and the pillows felt like they’d be worn down to practically nothing. Oh, and the rooms had absolutely no sound proofing between them.
Horrible. I’m embarrassed I recommended and had two other groups stay here. Had to use a service elevator. Holiday Inn should be ashamed of themselves.
N/a
Incredibly hot in this building. No A/C. The beds were dirty and no soap. Gross and won’t ever stay there again.
The view from the room over the city was nice. The room was in reasonably good condition. The elevator, halls, and parking to entrance were all in need of repainting and cosmetic improvements. Area around it was some good, some bad. Hotel property needs to hire a lawn maintenance crew to weed whack the unkempt/unmaintained part of the property.
Have stayed there numerous times, and always accommodating.
My credit card currently is showing a double-charge, but we'll see if they catch it before it finishes processing. Other than that, it was a great stay. Everyone was very friendly and it's a great location for a weekend in Raleigh.
Great hotel, clean and close to everything
It was within walking distance of restaurants and the Red Hat. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. I didn’t like having to pay extra for parking but it was downtown and that’s to be expected.
No mini fridge, microwave, fan in bathroom, and restaurant was shut down..
One person on the hotel staff was rude and inconsiderate. The tub was backed up, bathroom was dirty. Will not stay here again.
Very Disappointed. Did not have a trash can inside the room and had to ask for one which they brought. Bathroom was very tiny where the door was a few cm from hitting the toilet. No mini refrigerator to store drinks. No breakfast as their restaurant was closed. Also saw a roach exiting our room when we had got back. Wouldn’t stay here again. Also would stay outside downtown as it’s cheaper and offers more amenities.
