The Ballantyne, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Charlotte

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Not really a true resort. Only 1 smallish outdoor pool. Only 1 restaurant. Golf course very obviously gets too much play...nice, not spectacular and in marginal condition. Tee boxes are horrendous.

Wonderful hotel in great location in Charlotte. Its direct proximity to restaurants and shopping as well as a golf course makes it a great location to not only enjoy business.

I had very good stay. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Excellent hotel with great amenities ! great. Location

Lovely rooms and friendly staff made for an excellent overall experience.

Staff is exceptional. Every single staff member I passed during the 2 days I was there greeted me with a smile and hello, and each request was pleasantly and efficiently met. Rooms very nice with marble floors, and all expected amenities and a few unexpected (makeup remover pads, nail file, Q-tips, etc.). Beautiful lobby and grounds/golf course. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Free parking available or valet, if preferred.

From the beginning of our arrival, the staff was warm and friendly. All of the staff we encountered were helpful. The room was just beautiful. I played golf on the great golf course which was at the hotel and my wife spent the entire day in the spa. The golf was one of the best I have played. My wife had a wonderful day at the spa with a massage, facial and mud treatment. I will come back when in Charlotte.

The staff were excellent. Check in was seamless and the room was fantastic. I loved their Ballantyne martini and food was superb. Will definitely stay there again.

THis is a top notch hotel. The service, the staff, the rooms, the amenities -- there is simply nothing not to like about the Ballantyne. The area was build about 10 years ago by developers that had a personal interest in the land and with amazing insight and tremendous attention to detail have developed an area rich in culture, beauty, comfort, relaxation, business, and leisure. The Ballantyne Resort was thoughtfully built and decorated. The Gallery Restaurant was very good, from service to selection. The social gatherings range from weekly Pool Parties, to Ice-Cream Socials, Wine and Cheese Pairings and Cooking Classes. Whether you plan a romantic weekend, a gala event, a family getaway or just a private retreat, you will find it all at Ballantyne. Golf, Tennis it's all here. Most of all - you can hear yourself think here. Visit the full service SPA for a special retreat. Next time I'm going alone. This time I went with the kids.

Just a really nice place, with a great staff of people. Were always very helpful and attentive to your needs.
