Our rental car was broken into along with others. The suspects were caught by the security from the hotel across the street and retaliated with gun fire. We didn't have peace of mind staying there. Also, the 6th floor is being worked on so there was a lot of hamer banging in the morning.

Property is under construction! All the rooms are a mess with partially completed projects, Sheetrock dust and painters tape. Very little hot water. Hallways have floors with half tile down and trip hazard everywhere due to it.

My stay was awesome. Everyone at the hotel was very accommodating and extremely nice. The biggest things I look for when I stay at a hotel is cleanliness, the size of the room, the area it is in, and how the staff reacts to the guests. I would give 5 stars for everything I mentioned above.

Our stay was really nice. We came for a concert and stayed for just a night. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check in and out was easy. I recommend staying here for a few nights if you come to charlotte.

Rough stay
We had got the room online where we were charged full price. Upon checking in, we had to pay another $50 for damages and then an additional $30 for having a dog. I dog mind the fees, but why hide that when we buying the room. I wouldn’t have stay here if I knew the place was going to be over $215 for one night. I’m not sure if that is on hotels.com for hiding certain fees or the hotel, but I hate paying three separate times for a one night stay. The service was not helpful, saying it’s not their problem that the price is different from what it’s listed. Charging my card three times is not ideal. After checking in, we come to find out the entire hotel is being renovated so there’s dirt, dust and mud all over with plenty of materials just lying in the hallways. Will never stay here again.

The room I reserved months in advance was not available for my family after we drove 7 hours in the car. Thankfully, the kind lady working resolved it by giving us a 2nd room. However, it is frustrating the room type that was reserved was not available.
