The room was old and rundown. Window faces walkway so you have to leave it closed. Scratchy towels. Poor water pressure. TV didn't work -- but to staff's credit they tried to fix it and offered to move us to a suite, but we were already settled in and tired. Sheets rather rough although OK. Noisy nearby bar kept us up one night with heavy bass. Breakfast at co-located restaurant was free but bad -- weak coffee, watery oatmeal, underdone bacon, untempting sausage patty, out of yogurt. BTW, no elevator to second floor.
Toilet wobbled on the floor and didn’t flush. Shower handle rattled pipes and spit out scalding water. Breakfast was served cold. Room service forgot to replenish coffee and towels. Horrible! Don’t stay here!
Take this hotel and place it in a better neighborhood .
Old and runs down property in industrial area close to extremely noisy railway. Smells horrible too.
Nothing unique Was put in room 102, king bed handicap, It was a pit, requested new room got 127. Why not in that one first . Sub par property.
The bed and pillow were comfortable. The furniture and carpet need to be replaced
The hotel needs a total facelift.
Since we found this hotel it’s where my husband and I stay every time in Tucson love the jetted tubs they have some cute garden areas it’s very quiet the front desk is very accommodating. Bumsteds is next door they serves some delicious huge sandwiches and do trivia and karaoke best part it’s family friendly restaurant
There is construction going on, which affected the water supply. We didn't have water for about 12 hours. Also, the people in either side of us were very loudinto the early morning hours, making hard to get a good night's sleep.
the staff were very nice and allowed us to check out early which we did because the pull-out couch was so uncomfortable our daughter couldn't sleep. Also, the hotel isn't located in the safest neighborhood and there is no fence blocking off the parking area nor lock on the pool area so our teenage daughter would have felt safe staying there while we went hiking.
This is a nice, homey place. I send all of my guests there.
My husband daughter and I stayed her Valentine’s Day weekend for a last minute staycation. My daughter really wanted a giant bathtub so we booked the suite with jacuzzi tub. Checking in we thought it was a decent hotel. They were out of wine and offered free drinks at the bar next door that we gladly took. As we entered our room we were hit with the smell of stale cigarettes. Nothing the ac and open window didn’t fix. While the room was airing out we left to get some dinner and go roller skating and came back. No more smell. We thought great. Daughter wanted to take a bath. I set it up for her. It worked amazingly! She was beyond happy. The room was dated and things were cracking but it’s a motel. Not a swanky hotel. As we were getting ready for bed we found something disturbing in the room. I immediately went to the front desk. I was angry as hell. However, Maria was working that night and she was so sweet it was difficult to be angry. My husband and I debated checking out but my daughter had fallen asleep while we discussed our options. We chose to stay the rest of the night. The walls are so thin you can hear the neighbors in great detail. It was difficult to fall asleep to that as well as the bed feeling like a rock. My husband and I hardly slept through the night. The AC worked great too we kept it running all night and woke up freezing. The room left us feeling quite gross that a shower doesn’t fix. Front desk was super nice though,we got a full refund.
It was a nice clean place to stay. It was alos comfortable and quiet.
Breakfast was very good Beautiful and enjoyed the location
It's a nice hotel and very clean. Only thing missing was an ice machine which is minor.
Did not like first floor room heard creaking noise when people walk around. Also could hear rooms beside us. Get a 2nd floor room. Local Train is noisy, use ear plugs. Hot tub, pool, exercise room, and breakfast was great. Cookies were good.
The front desk was quick and efficient but not very cheerful. not a big deal, but what upset me the most was that I left a "do not disturb" sign on my door so that cleaning crew would not enter my room. On short stays, I prefer no one entering my room. They entered anyway and cleaned the place. Which is nice, but I have had stuff stolen in the past, which is why I put DND on my door. Not stolen from this property but other hotels.
