Lovely suite, beautiful balcony with views, gorgeous pool with views, courteous and responsive staff, yummy quesadillas and burgers. Really nice place!

We had use of the spa. We enjoyed the steam and Jacuzzi.

Great view from the property. Friendly staff. I like the complimentary newspaper. Room is immaculate when you come back from a day out with family.

I stayed in the King Suite, amazing room with kitchen, huge bathroom, and a nice leather couch and reading chair with a huge balcony. Amazing location and size for the price.

On a recent trip to review Tuscan for moving considerations we stayed at this lodge. It is near the outter rim of the mountains situated on beautiful grounds of a country club. Great views however, the rooms and lodge are a little dated for my taste. The room was large, more of a 1,000 sq ft apartment and large ample bathroom. Sitting area and small kitchen too. Pool was Olympic but they were diving a new resort-style pool which added to the noise and dust.

Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds with lots of space.

The facililities, staff, room and Mountain Golf Course was simply fantastic! Everyone was so focused on ensuring a great stay and experience!

Beautiful grounds and friendly and helpful staff. Our room was next to a catering office and the employees talked, joked and laughed loadly outside our door, we could clearly hear their conversation. The bath tub was awsome ecept for the water pressure, but one call down to the office it was fixed while we went to eat at a nearby restaurant. The room itself was very nice-somewhat dated. All in all a very nice place! I would go back... i would take a closer look at the plumbing and patio before the receptionist left the room.

I have stayed in this resort for just a few days and I really appreciated the large rooms and the beautiful mountain view.

From the moment of arrival, the staff was extremely efficient, friendly and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was excellent also. As I came for the annual gem show, I didn't use the other available amenities but was shown everything to do from a nature walk to exercise room.

This is a great hotel that is located in a semi secluded northern location. It allows for a very relaxing feeling, yet; you are only minutes away from the conveniences of the city. We had to ask for a couple of cooking utensils that we assumed should have been there, however; that was it. Everything else was perfect.

When I arrived at the hotel, the friendly staff was eager to show me to my large, spacious room. There are only 50 rooms, so you never feel crowded or hear lots of noise from other rooms. The view from the balcony was beautiful, and I enjoyed fresh coffee out there as the sun came up over the mountains. I did everything right there in the resort: dinner, cocktails, swimming, and there were many more options. Overall, it was a great stay, and would definitely stay again.

Great location and comfortable. Real mattresses are important when traveling, especially for a business trip where you need to get a good night's sleep.

I booked the room for 4 nights but I didn't find out until I checked in that there is a $20 per day "Resort Fee". Since I don't golf or play tennis or use the pool, i saw no reason to pay a 'Resort Fee' but it is not optional. Wish I had known about it beofre booking.

What a beautiful area of Tucson this hotel is located in..and a great suite..could stand a little updating of the decor but absolutey a great room for the price!

The bad: Moldy shower head & tile grout, filthy black air vent covers, sharp metal pins in carpet, broken patio furniture, excessively low bathroom counter/sink, outdated hideous decor, no guest services available at night, etc. The good: watching the house gecko lizards run in & out of the holes in the water damaged balcony ceiling. We definitely won't stay here again at any any price!

The food was excellent but on Friday and Sat you might do with a reservation. Grounds were beautiful.

Staff caters well without getting in your face. Any issues were taken care of immediately like you were the only guest there. Very relaxing atmosphere. If you want the depth of a hotel, you can walk on the paths to the Loew's hotel sharing the same property.

We rented three rooms for our family to celebrate my wife's birthday. The suites were very large and accommodating, two were connecting and they gave us three next to one another which made it very nice Sunday brunch was excellent. Great service by the staff too. Rooms are a little dated, but size spacious and great.

Ventana Canyon Lodge is in a beautiful location, but it's about 45 minutes from the airport. Also, it's a country club that also happens to be a hotel, so everything closes at 9 p.m.. No bar, room service, or restaurant. The rooms were gorgeous and roomy and the wait staff was super helpful.
