Typical residence inn with nice suites and standard breakfast for Residence Inn. Location is very good with many restaurants within minutes (even walking would be possible). Mall is only 2 minutes driving away. Hotel is what you expect from a Residence Inn.
The room was nice and clean, the air conditioning worked and the service was great. The breakfast was also more extensive than I thought it would be. I stayed for 3 nights and I would definitely stay here again.
Good service (like almost all Marriott related properties). Nice, large room layout. Room seemed clean. Breakfast was good. It was at least 108 outside and the room kept cool. The appointments are a bit dated but well kept.
Thanks frequently travel to Tucson for business. I like the residence inn kind of property because of the kitchen an extra space to work. But this place lacks housekeeping service. In May I checked in and there were wet towels on the bathroom floor behind the door. They never checked well enough. Yesterday I checked in again. The garbage from the previous guest was still there. A journal from the previous guest was still in the bathtub. They put the floor towel next to it and didn't see a book sitting there. The hand soap by the sink was used. The cooking utensils are rusty. That is so unhealthy. This place is a mess. I'm looking for a place to move out of here today. If you're coming to Tucson for an extended stay look somewhere else.
This is a long established property, but is carefully maintained. Staff act like they appreciate your business. Pleasing rooms and nice pool and hot tub. I have stayed here before, and I always enjoy the location. Value is the only negative here with hotel fully priced most of the time.
The Marriott next door told me they had overbooked and I had been "upgraded" to the hotel next door. Definitely NOT an upgrade. After schlepping through 2 parking lots in heels at 9pm by myself I had to wait 10 minutes while the poor girls tried to figure out what had been done to my reservation.... (please note the lobby staff was very kind and were doing the best with what they were delt). Next I schlepped myself thought what I can only describe as an apartment complex to my room. I requested top floor, knowing I am sensitive to noise above me, I was not put on the top but was too tired to go all the way back to the desk. Overall - DECOR b-. Dated and somewhat shabby and the room had an odor. BED - very hard, I sleep on my side and could never fall into a deep sleep due to the hard mattress making my shoulders ache. The A.C. would not go below 70 degrees, when I left my room the next am the HALLWAY was cooler than my room. Although I went to bed as soon as I got in the room, the person above me was apparently having a "brick shoes" dance party till midnight and started up again at 5am. If you don't mind hearing others shower or flush the toilet, you might be ok. The atmosphere, (people clearly live here aka "residences") decore and quality of this property can only be describe as that first apartment you live in after college. Looks great from the outside, but inside, you get what you pay for. Don't stay here if you don't have to.
Stayed at this hotel for 12 nights and have zero complaints. I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which was roomy and did not feel confining like most hotel rooms. The room was extremely clean. In response to some of the other reviews, was the furniture the most modern or brand new? No, but you are in an average priced hotel. If that's what you are looking for, don't stay here. Spend the money and go to one of the resorts. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous, and professional. They were always smiling and willing to go the extra mile. Was the breakfast pretty much the same every day? Sure, but I am used to eating the same thing every day and I thought there were great choices: waffles, fruit, yogurt parfaits, cheese, eggs, bread, cereals, etc. Heck, someone else made it, so what do I care? Loved the Monday-Wednesday evening events. The offerings were great and I didn't have to spend money on food. Wednesday is just desserts. They offer great beer options. I didn't use the pool, but used the gym daily. It's really small, but has dumbbells, bench, 2 treadmills with tvs, and an elliptical with a tv. I'm an avid gym goer and this was enough for me. I don't need much though to get a great workout in. Great location. Central to everything...quick drive to base, restaurants, downtown, etc. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
My wife and I stayed two nights at this hotel and we were thoroughly impressed with all aspects. Most of all, the entire staff was extremely courteous and helpful, going out of their way to be helpful. The room had everything we needed - clean, roomy, and functional. The free breakfast was terrific also. All of this was provided at a very reasonable price. Thanks very much to the staff at this Residence Inn for making our stay a memorable one.
Stayed for 14 nights and felt pampered the whole time. Front desk, concierge and housekeeping were very friendly and accommodating. Heated pool area was kept clean & towels were always available. More than enough variety of items at morning breakfast and loved the dessert night on Wednesday evenings
This hotel needs deep cleaning. Room smelled bad. Breakfast was ok. Usual eggs, waffles, fruit. Courtyard next door is much better!!!! They have a better breakfast and rooms are updated and cleaner. Location is good. Staff wasn't helpful.
