Lots of noises construction going on
One of our beds was not clean and had some thing in it that was disgusting. The staff took great care of us and tended to the situation immediately.
Suite was as I expected, and as pictured. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful grounds but the arcade and mini golf that was described was no there.
I loved the live music in the evenings. The musicians were really talented. The commons area is gorgeous and very relaxing. The staff was wonderful-- helpful, and friendly. The drinks and food were both delicious. I didn't like the additional $75 daily fee for grounds and self-parking. In addition, there weren't enough places for my teenage son and me to sit at the pool and I found the circling for a place to put our towels a bit challenging.
Slide and Pools, Golf and biking were lovely! the room was quite comfortable! Adult pool was very relaxing with good views and the rest of the pools were quite fun for the family!
Cost
Specifically called ahead several hours asking for an early check-in. Front desk assured us that was possible and "notes are entered in the record." Bear in mind, "early" at this hotel is simply before 4pm. Not only was it not possible once we arrived as committed, but poor service from the front desk and a delay to us not being able to even get to our room until 4:30pm Underwhelming for a hotel of this price point.
This is our second time at this property. Love the pool area with the slide and lazy river for the kids. Bonus: it has an adult pool. You can buy drinks and food at the pool and they come around serving as well. Rooms were decent and big. I liked the little store in the lobby. The hallways have a CVS vending machine which was cool when you need pain meds or something. The property has a restaurant and bar and a nice patio area overlooking the golf course.
Amazing place. Literally looks like the photos! Such great staff and service. Wonderful housekeeping and just the best time hubby and I had!
Lovely property that is overrun by locals. If you don’t mind paying to stay in a place that is ruled by those not staying at the property then this is the place for you. The pool is great, property is well taken care of. The birds are a bit unruly and will steal your food if sitting outside. I wouldn’t give it a 4-5 star rating. Understaffed.
Great property with an amazing pool and courtyard. Lots of space and well manicured grounds. Some of the restaurants were shut down due to the pandemic but overall it was fantastic. We will definitely go back.
Slow service in only breakfast location. Never got the milk I asked for my tea on two mornings. Burnt toast and burnt bacon. Waited over 20 minutes for breakfast one morning while other tables had been waited on and left !
