The villa 2-br/2 ba rooms were enormous, with full-sized kitchen plus large living and dining areas, as well as normal size washer and dryer. A wonderful bonus for those, like us, who stay here between Thanksgiving and New Years, is that we could just walk across the street into the Fairmont Princess' Xmas wonderland. Definitely recommend this place to families for winter vacation.
This Resort is such a Family Friendly Resort yet still has quiet and privacy for those not wanting noise and little ones constantly around!! We go at least once a year and LOVE it!! Friends try and say we can stay elsewhere but once they visit us, they quickly change their minds as the room sizes, number of pools and convenience win!! Keep up the Great Resort!!
We stayed at the 2 bedroom villa and it was spacious. Kitchen is fully equipped for basic cooking. Rooms are clean. Amenities are great. The only dislike that I can think of is on our last night, there was a storm and the next morning when we went to the pool, there was a lot of debris which looks like they didn’t clean the pool before they opened it. Other than that, it was a good staycation for us
Friendly staff.....excellent location and property
Very nice staff and good amenities, particularly for families with kids. No room services during our stay
Noisy between floors, really noisy
We decided to stay at this resort as a client of mine works for the company/timeshare and we wanted to see what it was all about. We ended up arriving earlier than expected due to some flight time changes. The resort was accommodating with an early check in and late check out. Pros and Cons ( for us) are as follows cons: checking in you get a hard sell for discounts if you attend their timeshare presentation. I knew ahead of time this was coming. I actually even thought about doing it until the only time during our 5 day trip that was available was Saturday at 9 am. When I told them that wasn’t an option, they tried to talk us into changing our plans in order to attend. At that point we had to give a hard no. Then the niceties stopped. We got a curt oh and our room keys. The other con: I should have really listened to the other reviews and taken the top floor room. We were on floor one ( ground level) and every night the people above us were heard. Their dog. Their kids. Their stomping around. Last one. I don’t think of my self as a coffee snob, but love a good cup of coffee. The coffee shop was not the place for a good cup of coffee. Yuck. PROS! The rooms are perfect, we got the signature room. 2 king size bedrooms, fold out couch, living area, full kitchen ( our coffee pot was broken) stocked, dining room, laundry, 2 baths. Perfect. 4 pools! 1 was adults only which we enjoyed. We only tried 2 pool spots and both were great! Loved it here over all.
All the great pools, including the children's pool with water slides, were a big hit with our family. Being just across the street from the Fairmont's Xmas Lights was an unexpected bonus. The rooms in our "casita" were even better than we expected; very large with an excellent kitchen. Plus close to 101 loop freeway.
Location. Amenities. Layout of room. Lifeguards. Grounds.
They made us wait hrs to check in. We checked in at 730 and literally ran to the restaurant that closed at 8. We didnt get to do my daughter's bday xake that day. I feel robbed of my vacation
We had a great time at this property. The value is incredible. We booked a 2 bedroom suite, and it exceeded expectations. First, it's huge and has two bathrooms. It was right next to the pool, which made it super easy with kids. The full kitchen is the best with a family for the obvious reasons. Also, the on-site restaurant served really tasty food. The waterpark is pretty small but there are other pools that aren't as busy. My one dislike was getting to the room with all the luggage. Ours was on the third floor and there isn't an elevator. The hotel is located close to lots of other nice restaurants and shopping. We will definitely stay here again. It's truly is a family-friendly place that makes for a nice vacation!
This property is aging but it is still a great value. The kitchen and sitting areas are great!
