The resort was very nice and the units were in good condition. We had plenty of room and we had a washer and dryer which was very convenient. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were excellent. There were plenty of supplies to start out the trip and there was an onsite convenience store if you needed anything additional. The pool and hot tub were right outside of our unit that made in nice to spend some time at that area, but then a short walk to our room. There are a variety of onsite activities for all ages and the concierge was very helpful in providing information upon check in to the surrounding areas. Would definitely stay there again.
We stayed here for 3 days, everyone here were very nice and helpful, on our day of departure my husband was sick so they arranged a late check out for us at no additional cost! Will definitely stay there again when we go to Arizona.
My husband and I stayed this weekend, we are Club Owners. This is our first visit to this property. The rooms are nice and clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pools are all close, quick walking distance. While we were there, we were due to attend a 1 hour presentation for Club Owners. The salesman, Jim from Hawaii, is an aggressive jerk. He was degrading and condescending. I'd that had been my first impression of buying a timeshare, I never would have invested. He's the whole reason we didn't upgrade today.
My wife and I spent 4 nights here on business. The location was very convenient to where we needed to go. We have stayed at the Fairmont but the price was astronomical this time of year. The HI was more like a 1 bedroom apartment than a hotel. Separate living room, full kitchen, and washer/dryer. Just be advised that you won't get daily housekeeping unless you pay for it. Also, didn't get fresh towels daily although there were plenty for us that were supplied. The only tip I would give is ask for a top floor. We were on the ground level and you could hear the people on top walking around. Not a big deal but I could see it being quite loud if you have a family with kids above.
This is a really great family friendly hotel. I would rate it about 4.5. Conveniently located to the highway so you can get anywhere in Scottsdale and Phoenix pretty easily. I had a two bedroom two bath condo for the week. It comes with all the amenities of home including a washer dryer. Very nice, looks to be more recently renovated with two sliding glass doors one in master bedroom and one in family room leading out to a long balcony. There are many pools on this property and each casita seems to have one directly in front of it. Makes it nice and convenient. There is also a small water park with slides for the kids at one of the pools on the property. There is a restaurant and a small marketplace that has a nice little coffee shop in it. There is sometimes a little bit of a wait in the morning. They really should have more than one person behind the counter there. The front desk staff was so friendly especially Melanie who always greeted us with a friendly smile and asked how we were doing if we wandered in there to ask the concierge for restaurant suggestions. The one thing that I do need to mention is that there are no elevators on the property. I had a third floor condo for the week and getting my luggage or carting around my hiking gear up and down the stairs was a little difficult. I would suggest for those with knee problems to request a room on the second floor or the grounds floor. All in all I really liked this property and would come back and stay here again.
We stayed here in October for a short girlfriend's weekend. The three of us had a HUGE villa with three bedrooms,We had three bathrooms and a full kitchen and liked being able to make meals there. The location was convenience to the Old Town, Sedona, etc. and there were lots of restaurants and stores in the area (very close to Scottsdale Auto row). The resort seemed nice (although we didn't spend much time there) and we were pleased with our villa .... except for the HUGE cockroach in one of the bathroom showers our last day! I'd definitely stay here again. We got a good price (20% off standard rates), liked all the space and the location.
I recently stayed here during a business trip, using my free stay from my Holiday Inn Vacation Points. The Hotel Itself is very clean. The rooms were very spacious and very up to date and modern. Everything you needed was in the room. I had a room below, and the only problem I found with this is that there was a party who was staying above me that was "partying" and I heard everything, including them walking around, however, security was on it right away when I called (not their fault though) Everything on property was within walking distance which I liked. There is a convenience store, and a restaurant which I did not visit. The pools surround the rooms, and each has a hot tub but I went to the bigger hot tub by the restaurant. The Hotel itself is situated right in the heart of Scottsdale so I was able to travel around fairly easily, The staff was super friendly and very helpful. I have already told my husband that we are coming back here so he can come with me.
Booked a 3 bedroom villa for the golf tournament, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodation and the proximity to the course. Full Kitchen, dining room was perfect for a boys golf week. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. value for $ is exceptional for PWMO week. Recommend if your staying for more than a couple of nights bring some shampoo and ask for more towels, they don't service the rooms until you check out, of if they do, you need to ask.
We had a great time Thursday evening with Cowboy Marshal Pioneer Peper! 😀 Loads of fun! Hope to see him again.. really brings you back in time with great cowboy music! Thank you for the fun time Marshal!!
The pools and grounds were very nice and well kept with the exception of one deck area in the kids pool where it was crumbling and not swept up for days. The pool is saline and was great for not smelling like chlorine and was well staffed with lifeguards. There were many daily activities for younger kids, older kids and adults including walks, crafts and movie nights. There were bbqs available for use and one could get grilling tools at the front desk. The staff was friendly upon greetings (with the exception of one repeated long face that worked in the restaurant during the day.) The website resort and villa photos live up to reality - the villas are spacious and have large, well equipped kitchens and eating/living spaces. However..This resort promotes itself as family oriented but one major oversight is the lack of safe sleeping options for toddlers who have outgrown a crib but are still unsafe to sleep in a 30" tall bed. There are no cots available (cribs, yes) so we had to go buy an inflatable bed for the floor. We were told that to use pullout sofa bed but why would i book a 2 bedroom villa with a lovely sitting room if the kid going to bed first has to sleep in it?? Our unit was simply dissappointing. Walking up to the door we were greeted with a dead cockroach and more disturbingly several dead bees on the ground.I cleaned these up yet each day more dead bees were on our patio which makes me wonder/worry about the guy walking around spraying green stuff everywhere. Our unit was sub ground and honestly felt like a bunker. The walls and ceiling were without soundproofing. It sounded like a heard of elephants roaming above us every night and we seemed to get the late night check-ins above on several evenings which woke our toddler. One night there was a teenagers birthday party that raged until 1:30am next door. The TV in that unit hung on the wall shared by our masterbedroom headboard.Even after they checked out and 'normal-volume' guests arrived we could still hear EVERY word on their TV from our masterbed. We mentioned the noise to the front desk and while they were apologetic we still got another 9:30-10pm check in above us that same night. The resort appeared empty so i can only figure that our building was the short stay building? As far as cleanliness goes the floors were filthy and i found a previous guests underwear in a drawer. Ick! All in all the resort grounds are well kept and the pools are gorgeous but the agravation of the above significantly detracted from my enjoyment over 10 days. We are loyal IHG hotel product users (spire elite rewards level which is the top tier) and yet on this stay i felt distinctly undervalued as a loyal customer of this hotel chain.(We used rewards points for this stay and wonder if this is why we landed in the noisy, high traffic bunker? Id say that's a short sighted business practice.) Sadly, I was dissapointed since family vacations away are few and far between for us.
