The only nice thing about the hotel was being close to the Marqueee Theater where we were seeing a concert. The shuttle driver was very rude to us and other drivers, and tried to guilt us into a big tip. The room had a dismantled smoke alarm with just exposed wires. At 1am our bathroom ceiling started leaking a ton of water, and the phone in the room was broken so and couldn't be hung up so we had to keep it unplugged to stop the dial tone.

We stayed for four days and accomodations were generally acceptable. Do not book if you want a real pool, they only have a lap pool and it is very short. The workout room is attached directly to the humid pool area without a separating door. This means any workout is very difficult due to the 90% humidity and lack of fans in the room. Breakfast was just ok, however there is a Dennys right next door that is open 24 hours. Basic rate was $170 a night, glad I nabbed it at $120, I would not have been happy paying the higher rate. Hotel staff were very helpful and polite. Would recommend at the lower rate if you can get it. One other item to note. .. you can only enter the property from Scottsdale Rd southbound. If you are headed north you will have to turn around and come back to it.

Very friendly staff. Close to the airport with shuttle service. Breakfast was awesome. Could use new pillows, square and lumpy.

I realize we all sleep differently and it's what your body is accustomed too, but I came home with backaches. Mattress and pillows were substandard! Sorry BW I've stayed in better best westerns!

Pros: Convenient location. Affordable. Updated lobby. Cons: uncomfortable beds and pillows, a generator ran outside my room until after 10pm.

significant freeway noise; earplugs required for noise-sensitive individuals.

Wonderful hotel close to everywhere in and around Phoenix. Top notch breakfast! Friendly staff. Newly remodeled rooms and no carpet so it is always nice and clean! In N Out right across the street.

The hotel is clean, staff is great, breakfast included. There is a Denny's next door if you need a meal and don't wish to drive. It is right next to the freeway, there is very little freeway noise, but there is some. Nice lap pool, workout room. Great Value

Staff was wonderful- couldn't get the room cool enough and no hot water in the bathroom sink but we enjoyed our stay- nice to have breakfast provided

Great breakfast, fantastic customer service and close to shopping. Only problem was the noise from the freeway, though it wasn't too bad.

Nice location Dennys in parking lot and starbucks across the street. Very near freeway. One mile walk along lake to downtown Tempe. Good breakfast..

I love everything about this hotel, convenient location, right off the freeway, close to downtown Tempe, great location, restaurants near by, great scenery

They didn't have the room we reserved, but the staff was quick to correct the issue for us! Also, the best hot breakfast we've ever had at any hotel!

Staff was really helpful and friendly. Location was close to the airport.

good location, great price, fantastic and helpful staff, can use the hotel shuttle to drop you off anywhere within 3 miles for $5.

Staff waa friendly. Rooms were clean. They care for their clients.i highly recommend.

The hotel is located adjacent to the 202 Freeway. My room faced the highway and the noise was deafening 24/7. I thought the window was open because it was so loud. I was told to ask for a room on the south side in the future. The room was clean however, but the pillows were extremely firm. Ask for different pillows. The buffet beakfast was great with scrambled eggs or omelets and bacon or links, fresh fruit etc.

The hotel jacked up their prices for Pat's Run weekend. The tile around the "pool" was faking apart and pieces of the slate were stuck all over my suit. It was the loudest most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. I can't even imagine how old the matress is. They need to be replaced!

Nice that it is close to Sloan Park to catch a Cubs game, but rooms are very tiny when you have two double beds and a family of four. Needs more leg room and what's up with trying to get into the hotel! You all need to do a u-turn which was very dangerous. Add more entry ways!

We stayed one night. The hotel lobby was very clean when we walked in. Desk staff was very welcoming. Clorine smell is pretty strong in the elevator. The pool is located just behind the elevator shaft. We didn't use the pool. It looked like maybe some maintenance was taking place. Which was not a big deal for us. Our room was a king. I accidentally reserved the handicap accessible room. Which lead to different problems for us. When we stepped out of the shower we noticed the entire room was a giant puddle. Caused by the walk in shower. Not much counter space in the bathroom. I figured it was to make it more accessible. Our room was clean. Bed comfortable. Tons of pillows. Only complaint was they were tiny. We prefer queen or king sized. But they worked. I one thing I would definitely recommend DO NOT stay on the side by the road!!! Thank god we were so exhausted to care. If you are a light sleeper- not going to happen. We are used to being up early but the traffic outside our window (4th floor) made for a very early morning. Walking down the hallway I laughed at all the quiet please sighs on our side of the building. Not a chance of that happening. We had the breakfast it was ok. Nothing fancy.
