Although the hotel is slightly run down, everything went well from check in, to breakfast, and they even brought a heater to our room when we asked.

Probably wasn’t a bad place in the 90’s. Rooms were not cleaned that great. The room thermostat didn’t work and apparently no one else’s did either. The breakfast was also terrible. I definitely won’t be back.

When we checked into our room it was freezing and cold air was blowing even though the thermostat indicated that the heat was on. When I went to the desk to let them know I was told that they were aware and that they couldn't get anyone out to fix it. The solution was to tell us to turn the fan off and offer extra blankets. It was miserable! Also, the area that is used for parties and receptions is in the center of the hotel. We needed to get up early and could not get to sleep because a party was going on right outside of our room. Definitely do not recommend.

The breakfast was delicious and fresh each morning. The room was spacious and comfortable. My only complaints were that they did clean the room at all during my 4 day stay ( schedule said they clean on Saturday, but no one cleaned my room while I was out all day) and there was an issue with the wake up alarm going off every morning 3 times, starting at 4:56 am! I reported it 3 times, unplugged the phone, but it continued to go off from a non-working phone in the front room that could be unplugged. If they had told me it couldn’t be fixed ( which they said on the last day) I would have asked for another room. They kept saying it would be taken care of.

The hotel was older but refurbished and was clean. Rooms were spacious with good bed and linens. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast choice was disappointing with lukewarm spicy food / SW for breakfast. Breakfast staff just stood around and didn't refill coffee pot or add hot food, etc. One of my reasons for booking was because breakfast was included and wanted to start the day without having to stop our journey for food. I was very disappointed in the breakfast. Overall the hotel was nice enough to stay there again, if the breakfast was better.
