Half of advertised amenities not available. No airport shuttle, the limited local courtesy shuttle apparently was in an accident and that service wasn’t available. I had to take $200 worth of Uber rides since I had a full schedule attending a conference and couldn’t go back to the airport to rent a car. One of the pools was closed and lots of construction starting quite early in the morning. Charging the extra “amenities” fee is a joke when more than half the amenities advertised aren’t available. The quality of the place was nothing to write home about. Given it’s a Hilton branded place I expected better - definitely going to try and avoid any Hilton properties when possible in the future. Manager excuses for the false advertising of amenities were weak.

I would have given 5 stars, except: At time of reservation, which was many weeks in advance, I specifically requested not to be placed on the first floor. I got a “noted” response from Embassy Suites. When I went to check in, guess where our room was going to be? You guessed it, first floor! It was changed, but the person doing it acted like it was a Herculean task. Maybe if my original request had been processed? That being said, props to housekeeping. Our room was clean as a whistle. Much appreciated and yes, we always leave a tip for a job well done.

Hotel was nice and the breakfast was great. Lots of towels left all over the pool chairs by guests who had left the area - better attention to keeping that area tidy would have been nice for guests looking to find a chair to enjoy the pool. Also, the shampoo and conditioner was not replaced by the room attendants.

Quiet hotel and beds are extremely comfortable. The furniture could use updates in the rooms and around the pool. Carpets in rooms could use updates but otherwise the property is great.

I did not like the property at all it was not clean to me there was a ton of things wrong with my room. For starters is smelled damp, the AC unit was loud and the room itself was cleaned on the surface but not deep cleaned. I did not stay there instead I booked another Expedia room at the Element. The staff at the Embassy Suites was extremely friendly.

We enjoyed the pool area, morning breakfast and evening reception. The employees were kind and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Scottsdale.
