I never leave reviews but this was worth letting people know what to expect. First, let me start with the good. The front desk staff (specifically manager and asst. manager) were top notch and super helpful when trying to sort out our stay. Spoiler alert, we moved hotels and got a refund. Heres why. The bad. First room smelled like smoke and mildew. Oh well, it happens. We asked for a new room. New room was ok. Turns out half of the property is under renovation. This means that the main pool is closed, half of the rooms are having the bathrooms renovated and we were warned the smell would be strong depending on what side of the property we were on. We could smell it even tho we werent near it. The basketball/tennis courts no longer exist. The gym was under construction. They had a temp gym in two of the rooms lol. None of this is advertised at time of booking. I also checked on hiltons site directly and there is no mention there either. This is where it gets esp. bad. I finally got a chance to go work out after the first 2 days of our trip. I heard running water in the bathroom in the temp gym. I thought maybe another patron was in there using it? then i smell a strong chemical. Few minutes later a contractor pops out and empties something into kitchen sink in the room. its now clear that they are renovating the temp gym bathrooms ... why?! why would you set up a temp gym only to start to renno the restroom and close the gym? We ended up getting a refund and moving hotels.

The resort was under construction/renovation so many amenities were not available. We also had to move rooms due to no AC/heat and bad chemical smells from working on other rooms.

Room was not very well stocked - TP low and coffee - The shower was really not clean and around the shower there was black scum - No microwave in the room? and the microwave in the market was worse than gross. Front desk and, service at the bar and shuttle driver were great!!!

Front desk staff was best I’ve ever experienced. Big shoutout to Catherine, Matt and Conner. They were so helpful and gave great recommendations. Room was large and very nice. We like the property and location. When construction is complete the resort will be great but right now they have some issues. I understand this is the time they need to complete it but realize this is going on at this time. Breakfast is wonderful and staff very good as well. We did not use pool as weather was cool. Free shuttle is a nice perk. I enjoyed my stay and would return when all is complete. Again, kudos to front desk staff ❤️

Property is in desperate need of room upgrades. Feels dirty and walls and doors are filthy. Major construction all around hotel and was unaware before we booked.

The beds are smaller than normal queen size beds. There is only one chair inside the room, while we had to use the chairs outside (dirty).

Old hotel being renovated. The renovation was inconvenient. Still same old pineapple looking. The room has a particular smell. The furniture in the balcony and the pool is old. Actually some repairs were not well done. I like the space room. Also one day they forgot to clean the room. They should advise if the hotel is doing renovations. That is why I picked this hotel because the hotel we usually booked was under renovation.

The rooms are clean and the price was reasonable, but the lack of transparency regarding major construction and the negligence regarding guest safety make this a place to avoid. The biggest issue is safety. The staff drive these small black golf carts way too fast through the parking lot. It is hard to see them, especially since they do not stop at the intersections where the parking lanes meet the hotel entrance. They just blow right through without looking. One staff member zoomed past my car while I was backing out and he was moving so fast I did not see him in my mirrors until he flew past me. I was almost hit twice in five days. The service coordination is also broken. We requested early housekeeping on multiple days so the room would be ready for us to rest in the afternoon. The front desk said they would do it, but housekeeping continued to arrive at 3pm every single day right when we got back to nap. It felt like our requests were ignored. I booked this place specifically to avoid another hotel under construction, so it felt really deceptive to arrive and find this place is also a mess. They did not tell us before booking that the main pool is closed, the sports courts are torn down, and half the property is a construction zone. It is loud and the dust was bad enough to give me allergies. After I complained and asked for it, they did give us free breakfast for the last few days. I appreciate that, but I noticed they usually charge $26 a person for what is just a stand

Rooms were clean and good size and the patio area was so beautiful. Shower might need some renovations and the drain water was running slow. The breakfast and restaurant had limited choices. The hotel may need a new dining area. Overall the stay was good and I recommend staying at the hotel.
