If you anticipate getting back to the hotel late and having a drink at 11pm forget it. Wifi did not connect either.

This was one of our best vacations ever! This resort was fantastic from the moment we entered; check in quick & efficient; our room was so beautiful & super clean. The grounds were so beautiful; everything was kept up so nicely. We really enjoyed the pool area, restaurant, morning coffee in the lobby, seating areas throughout grounds, fire pits. Every single employee was so friendly and everyone wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy...WE WERE! The bell boys in front were super friendly and we utilized the free shuttle service to the downtown Scottsdale shops; this is a really nice perk! Fantastic resort, fantastic service and I would highly recommend this resort. We will definitely be repeat guests!

Nice hotel, pretty scenery, loved the spa area and it was nice. Good check in experience.

No Comment, not impressed with the 'resort' status of this hotel. Bar closed at 10 PM on a Saturday.

This hotel is in a great location. The staff was nice and friendly. The facilities were pretty, but the rooms are just average. It looks like the hotel is undergoing updates.

The pool was closed for a private event, I think they get lots of them. The fire from fountains was out of order. The room was average, so way over priced. The food was average and way over priced, $16 for 2 eggs. The room was about the same size as a Holiday Inn express, at 3 times the cost. I would not stay here again if I went to visit the area. The spa was at a different building, so I cannot say whether that was good or not. The only thing that was good about this hotel is the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. There are no elevators if you are elderly and are staying on the 2nd floor. The staff is so good I'm certain they would get your luggage to your room though.

Beautiful hotel on the outside but the rooms were below average! Lumpy old mattresses, dippy shower but when I complained the hotel personnel was beyond kind and helpful. they gave me another room with a better view. Still an okay room but much better than the first one.

This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy some time away. The hotel itself is located in a central part of Scottsdale and close to terrific restaurant selections, shopping and other attractions. (I think a rental car is a must for Scottsdale no matter where you stay, unless you never plan to go out). The staff a this hotel are friendly and helpful. The spa is a must try for anyone who enjoys spa services. The gym, the poolside food service, the fact that you can park your vehicle outside your room are just a few benefits this hotel provides. The rooms all have a private walk-out so you can wake up and chill outside in moderate privacy. The setting here is fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place to friends, and I plan to return in the future.

Very pet friendly. Very comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Continental breakfast was great. Pool side service was great. We had dinner outside by the fire pits and the restaurant served us outside while the dogs played. Will definitely go back in the future.

Room was a bit dated and had a funky smell. Room was clean , bed was comfy. Nice lobby and grounds.

Loved my stay at fire and sky! I can't say enough about how beautiful the facility is or how friendly and helpful the staff was. My one complaint was that I did not receive house keeping at all during my three days there.

The place calms you down as soon as you walk in. The front desk people were helpful and very welcoming. room ready right on time.

Great hotel with nice staff, big rooms. Pool area can be updated a little bit . More around the pool servers would be good.

An excellent choice near downtown Scottsdale. Small resort, but kept our young kids (under 5yrs) more than entertained. Zero entry "sand" pool was great for young kids. Only one restaurant, so we ate dinner in Scottsdale, which is very close. Kids 8+ yrs old would likely be bored, ie, no slides or kids zones. Majority of guests w/o kids, but we met plenty of families. A lot of "moms weekend" parties--everyone very laid back. Staff was excellent, very friendly. If you're looking for a true resort--multiple restaurants, pools, activities--this is not it.

The lobby is spectacular and the pool areas in the center courtyard are lovely. But the hallways and my room were worn and in need of a renovation. The design of the room was not very Kimpton. The room was on the cramped side. The bathroom was not well designed. First you walk into the sink area, which has no exterior door (so you can't shield the light if you're using it at night while someone else is sleeping). Then you walk through a door into the shower/tub and toilet room, which is large with space for furniture (i.e., a place to lay your clothing) but none provided. The shower/tub is very old and smallish by today's standards. The restaurant was okay but not a place I'd seek out. The coffee was weak brown water. The fitness room has new, high quality equipment (two treadmills, two ellipticals, one recumbent bike, and a small group of weights), towels, a water cooler, and earbuds. It is kept at a rather warm temperature, not comfortable for intense cardio. Overall, not (to me) worth the cost compared to other four-star and higher options. I love Kimptons, generally, but this one doesn't have the Kimpton feel except in the lobby.

The location is great, as it is close to many restaurants and fashion square mall. The pool and spa are nice as well. Room was nice. However I had to pay extra for wifi. Who charges for wifi these days? Then I had to print something, and their business center is 20 years old. Paid 8 dollars and the computer was super slow. Couldn't even print the form I needed to. Kinda ruined the experience for me. No microwave or fridge so don't bring back left overs from the restaurant you went to. Small things, things you find at cheaper hotels. But it is Scottsdale so.

It was an easy place to stay and walking distance to the mall. I had a nice girls weekend there.

The hotel was nice. I liked the free happy hour. I did not like the pool area. To much shade and not enough chairs. It is an older property so the rooms could use some updating. We got a good deal so for the money it was ok..

Front desk clerk was awsome, taggia had great food and the pool was fun!

We had a great time. The complimentary wine and morning coffee was nice. The bathrooms could use updated for a 4 star hotel and a trash can in the bathroom area would be nice. There was only one in the main room by the desk.
