Resort was spotty about requiring guests to wear masks in public spaces. Staff/security didn’t seem up to snuff—I discovered the gate to the backside of the complex propped open with a rock several nights in a row. In terms of view, don’t bother paying for a “Mountain View”. I did and I could see a mountain from my patio, but it also abutted a parking lot. I wish I knew that a “Mountain View” room also met you were facing the parking lot. I would NEVER have paid extra for that. Really bait and switchy.

Clean all around and peaceful. Friendly staff and the beds were amazing.

Spacious junior suite. ,clean. Staff wore masks. Due to corona pandemic most amenities were unavailable. Restaurants closed. Massage, spa were closed. Pool had limited hours.

The rooms are cool because you get a small balcony. However, the screen and door that you open to get outside is unserviceable and so are the locks.

Beautiful grounds and pool. Friendly staff Nice rooms

magnificent setting, clean room, enjoyable buffet, flute music

I feel like when you book this hotel through a 3rd party site, they put you far away from the main property (in the casitas). It's far to walk especially if the weather is bad etc..I was also disappointed in the service in the bar area.

It was nice, but the parking sucked. We couldn’t find a space, and a lot of vehicles didn’t have the parking pass in the window.

Very clean, employees very helpful and friendly, easy checkin

Service was great and pool was beautiful. Unfortunately our room had used bath robes and wood chairs on the patio that were sun rotted and needed to be replaced causing splinters in unwanted places. We also found a bug in our room but understand that’s hard to avoid on the ground level in the desert. Overall just felt like for the price and resort fees we should of had perfection.

The setting (mountain views) and landscape was beautiful. The rooms and facility were nicely decorated. There is quite a walk between buildings to get to the lobby area (where the restaurants are). Very limited food choices for such a nice resort. The buffet breakfast is $26.... and very limited choices in the Grab and Go. Bar only had wings/burgers/quesadillas. So your main choice for "dinner" is the dressier restaurant (which is fine, except if you are wiped out from a day of hiking/golf and don't want to dress for dinner/fine dine)

Wish there was a sunny spot off the room patio but it was shaded. Also there was only one good night stand plug in for one of the two beds and coffee pot was in the main area so if one person gets up earlier to make a cup it wakes the other

JC, Thank you for your notes and comments about your stay at our resort. We appreciate you pointing out the information on the rock at the gate and review with our team to assure this is addressed. We will also look at our mask guideline as we have been very diligent about this, other than in restaurants while eating or at the pool. We hope you have the opportunity to return to our resort and we will process a room assignment which is closer than to what you had anticipated. Sincerely,
