Jared, Luis and Sarah at the desk are tremendous. Gaberial and the restaurant personal were outstanding, I went to the kitchen and personally tipped the cooks, outstanding steak and asparagus with special sauce. The drinks are very good and the bartenders were excellent. The hotel is alittle older and could use some sheetrock repair in areas and some updating done, the place looks dated. We loved the waterfalls and feeding the fish. Our clothes closet smelled like mildew and the exhaust fan in the bathroom had black stuff growing out of it, looked like it had not been cleaned in many many years. Even though we did not drive there, we ubered from the airport and back, they still tried to charge us 10 dollars a day for parking, after protesting the charge they backed it off. We would stay there again should we go back, great staff.

Very nice, clean and professionally staffed hotel.

It is an older property. The staff is awesome. Breakfast was busy and they ran out of silver wear and plates but they did their best.

I had an excellent visit! All staff members were cheerful and helpful. The facilities were in excellent condition and cleanliness.

I would like to start off by saying this location has been a family favorite for stay vacations for years. However, our last trip there will be just that, our last trip there. The bartender (Pablo) was the rudest bartenders I have ever met. Part of the reason we go to the Embassy Suites is for the manager special (Mom and Dad get a drink or glass of wine and the kids get their Shirley Temples as well as the made to order breakfast. Pablo made it very clear that despite the drinks being "free" tips were expected. (fine I always tip). After tasting our drinks it was clear they did not add alcohol to them I returned to the bar and requested 2 more. I watched as Pablo put no more than a splash in the glass before filling with the mix. I asked for a double or a triple as the pour was no where near a shot as expected. Pablo than made it very clear if I wanted a properly mixed drink I would need to pay for it... What? I did with the 170$ per night cost! This guy even asked my 5 year old for a tip!! Due to the service from Pablo we complained to his supervisor. The next morning we had breakfast (I will say the ladies cooking did a great job and never asked for a tip! as you can imagine I gave them a good one). The most disturbing thing happened after we had left. Upon returning home and reviewing my bank statement I noticed the hotel had charged me $166 to much. I immediately called the hotel where I reached the GM. She explained to me that I was charged a smoking fee for smoking in the room (that's right 2 non smokers with young children were charged fraudulently). When I asked who stated that somebody was smoking as we are nonsmokers she indicated it was her hospitality manager. The same person I complained to about Pablo the bartender. PS. They also started charging for parking but do not offer valet service and parking across the street and the mall is free. Sadly disappointed in AZ We will be looking for a new family favorite for future stays.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites for 5 nights while visiting friends. I booked it for the awesome looking lobby/atrium area. It didn't disappoint. The pool was great, the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was awesome - I love a fresh cooked omelet my way! They have a meet & greet every evening for about 2 hours where they serve snacks and free alcoholic drinks - that was a fun way to relax and meet other travelers. Overall this was one of my favorite stays at a hotel and I will definitely book Embassy Suites again!

VERY GOOD UBICATION IN THE CENTER OF VERY GOOD MALLS AND RESTAURANTS

We came into town to attend a wedding. We had no problems at all. From the iron in the room to get those wrinkles out....to the hot breakfast the next morning, it was perfect.

minor difficulties with a/c in room and the door to the mini-fridge was broken. Computers in their business center did not have working internet connection. Staff was regularly irritable. Kids loved the pool and indoor pond with fish & turtles.

Wonderful lobby and rooms. Good restaurants across the street in an upscale mall. I think the Internet charge of $15 seems a little high.

no hot water first thing in the am for the entire hotel. $8 dollars to park in an open parkcing lot whre you park at your own risk. Not impressed. gym was very small and not air controlled well.

The staff was helpful. The room was great. This is a perfect location. Beautiful hotel.

The hotel was great. We came for mlb spring training. It is very central for all of the ballparks. The breakfast in the morning is great, and the manager's happy hour is a must after a day of being outside.

The Embassy Suite Hotel while a little dated was great for our needs. Located next to a mjor prestiges shopping center, all the amenities are within walking distance - shopping, dining and theater. Only 10 minutes from Old Town Scottsdale, and easy drive to Scottsdale Stadium to see the SF Giants play ball. The hotel was very clean and staff was super attentive. It is a great atmosphere for family, especially with children.

The hotel is in a good location to get just about anywhere you want to go in Phoenix. It was a good breakfast and the cocktails were a bonus. The downside was the room smelled of smoke even though It was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful location, walking to bilmore shopping district w/lots of great restaurant options. Hotel pool area clean and relaxing, extended patio nice, only complaint might be that the bathrooms show their age.

I arrived well before check-in time but was greeted warmly and provided a room immediately. The staff was cheerful and helpful. The rooms are amazingly spacious. The location is within walking distance of excellent restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. I look forward to a return visit soon!

I was sorry to note that all of the restaurants in the east wing of Biltmore Fashion Park had closed. It's not the hotel's fault but the close proximity of those restaurants was why I chose the hotel. Phoenix is generally boring. I've never been quite sure why people go there. From my point of view, Phoenix is one of the most expensive cities in the country. Lots of money for very little value. For the most part, aside from expensive, the hotel was fine.I've stayed in better, I've stayed in worse. I'll probably not stay there again, though.

Had a small issue with Embassy Suites not recognizing that the room was booked (and prepaid) through Orbitz - Orbitz was quick to address and Embassy Suites quickly corrected. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was nice, although needs to be cleaned a little bit more (lots of floating leaves, etc). The Koi fish in the ponds in the main area were really cool.

What a great value! In the heart of the trendy Biltmore area, which gave great access to many different parts of the Metro area, but didn't cost a fortune. Even with a microwave, refrigerator, THREE sinks, 2 flatscreen TV's, a great cooked to order breakfast, a limited free bar EVERY night AND a sitting/office area totally seperate from the bedroom! Whether on business or pleasure, I highly recommend staying there. I can't imagine how you would possibly be disappointed! P.S. Only slight negative: Parking is $6 a day. Not very expensive, but for an outdoor uncovered lot? In Phoenix? I think it should have been included, but not a very big deal
