Would i consider this a 5 star property. Nope. In the era of lower cost hotels, you get lower quality service. The beds aren't turned down everyday, room not cleaned and freshened up (no garbage removed, fresh towels, etc.), and I was a bit put off the fact there was a fridge on the floor (am I back in college) but no microwave to go with it. It's a simple barebones room, which is all I really need. The shower was fantastic, just be careful because there is clearly a magma setting for hot water. They were doing construction on the property to get it ready for the busy months, so I won't hold that against them.
Th hotel is old and outdated
I liked that it was located away from the busier areas. I also appreciated the list of events happening at the property.
The pool party was fun and the service was friendly, but I was not prepared for the extremely expensive and not strong drinks at the pool where no outside drinks were allowed. The rooms were nothing to write home about and one bed had stained sheets, but we knew going in this wasn't a 5 star resort. I likely would have chose another resort of I had realized not every one charges an additional resort fee. The front desk was nice, the bar had interesting spicey cocktails, and Chambrey at the pool was super friendly and hustled for sure. I likely would try other hotels, but wouldn't hesitate to say this one was alright for a place to sleep within walking distance of Old Towne.
the room was kind of small but no issues
The hotel is located right in old town Scottsdale- literally walking distance to everything. We loved the very large and clean pool area as well as the smaller, more secluded one. Our bedroom was large, with a separate sitting and two separate sinks with lots of room to spread out. The staff was friendly and upbeat - and we were traveling at a time where most service industries were understaffed (due to covid.). It was obvious people were going above and beyond in order to care for the guests. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a fun downtown location
Didn't like-they charge you for the water in a room, I like the hotel ouside panting.
This was the worst experience staying at a hotel Carpet felt so dirty, restroom was not clean towels were old and yellow, the pictures on line I’m sure they are filter. I will never go back and will not recommend this place the price I paid it’s a lot for the room I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping. Felt like there was bed bugs in there, we usually leave arround 1100 am this time a couldn’t stay there left at 530 am did not enjoy my weekend at all I felt dirty in that hotel
where do I begin. The pictures are very heavily filtered. It was 3 of us and we had 2 rooms 5208 &5209. Room 5209 had no hot water the entire stay. Room 5208 toilet would not flush. the pool looked dirty ripped chairs, water was green. Gross looking. Omg and let’s not forget about the elevator that dropped about 5 feet. While we were inside very scary👀🙈 and I seen food in a container outside of a room for 3 days. With the current pandemic I know the hotel was not busy so all these lil mishaps should not have heppened especially since they were closed for awhile.
This place should be shut down by the dept of health. No cleaning , no hot water. Food outside the room and beer bottles for days . Toilet don’t flush Bugs in the room . The worst pool ever it was filthy I had to pay to go to another pool in another resort. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN 😂😂😂😂😂
Loved the location and style of the hotel. They have to improve the pool service.
They have a great pool, hot tub, and deck. It was too chilly to use the pool but we did use the hot tub. The maid service in the room was good, The rooms could use a refresh, since they were renovated several years ago.
Pool area was great but the beds needed new covers. Bathroom pretty outdated but it was noticeable they are working on upgrading the hotel. Was good for a deal but don’t expect a upscale atmosphere. Drinks at the pool really expensive, would sell more by dropping price a few bucks.
