IT's been a few years since the photos were taken and the exterior paint and carpet need an update...but great staff and pool areas and overall good place to stay near the nightlife.

Nice overall staff, water features, colorful walls and decor

Slight smell of smoke due to people smoking on the balcony below us. Perhaps not allowing smoking on the balconies would help. Overall a comfortable and convenient place to stay. Ample parking near the room and walking distance to Old Town shops and restaurants. We will likely stay there again.

Nice hotel but my room was next to highway. The windows were not high quality so you could hear everything downstairs. Coffee machine was also broken. I didn't sleep at all because ac was too loud.

I booked for 5 night. Business trip. Left the 4th night. The worse service ever.. Front desk was ok., however the food was the worse. Their restaruant look like a cheep one including the servers took them like 45 minutes to Serve my food and got the wrong order a few times. Am in the customer servie industry and they have major work to do in general. Spa never answer the phone there in my stay. overall will never recomend this hotel.. They make it seem like a great one.

I love this hotel. The bright tropical colors are the best. The lobby was super cool looking too. The location cannot be beat. Old Town Scottsdale is literally right next door. Many great restaurants within walking distance, and good shopping.

Was only there for a Monday in early May so it wasnt very crowded. Colorful pool scene. A fun place to hang out - lots of umbrellas and day beds and a very long pool. Very nice fitness center with a good selection of resistance machines and a full array of dumbbells. I would recommend rooms overlooking the main pool.

Rooms are not kept up in good condition. Squeaky bed, shabby goodwill furniture, scuff marks, wall gouges and shabby repairs. Gross and not worth the money. You're better off paying a little more for the Hotel Valley Ho down the street which this property is desperately trying to be like.

we stayed here as we were flying out the next day and didn't want to be hours away. Very nice place, good pools, comfortable rooms, convenient to good restaurants and shops so we didn't have to drive anywhere to spend time there. very convenient to the civic center if you are going to an event there.

I stayed at the Saguaro for a bachlorette party I was attending. On checking out, I told the staff they were polite and helpful and the absolute best part of the hotel. I also told them I would never stay there again. They stated that the hotel is under refurbishment, which was obvious when several large rolls of carpet were laying in the parking lot, blocking my car as I tried to leave. I had a room on the 3rd floor and was told there was an elevator, which there was indeed. It did not work, however. The ice machine (on the 1st floor) was also out of order. The room was clean, but small and while it appears the hotel is trying to go for a chic look, it mostly appears shabby and old. The pool area is beautiful and the amenities are lovely, but for $300 a night, I could have stayed in any number of lovely hotels, with nice, comfortable rooms with most likely the same type of amenities. And probably a working elevator and ice machine. The hotel is VERY close to old town Scottsdale, which is convenient, and the staff were polite and attentive.

So, first let me say that I love the concept. Older buildings transformed with bright colors and great linens and photography. My issue at The Saguaro was cleanliness. The bathroom was not clean, there were marks on the legs of the bed, the carpet was dingy. Maybe building 1 is where they put travelers who book through third party sites, but it certainly didn't inspire me to want to pay full prices rates here. Great location though.

guest most pay to park at the hotel. Valet is uncovered parking check in was ok, friendly staff. The room smell musty as if no one had stayed for a while. Sheets were not the cleanest. Bathrooms outdated. Air conditioning unit was noisy. Pool area was ok nothing special about it. Final thought if you are looking for a cheap place in scottsdale this is your spot.

Room noise associated with AC was very loud. Bed frame was really loud with any movement. Location of room in relation to pool was nice. As a guest who paid to stay, I found it alarming that we could not find a seat at the pool on Saturday. I brought a drink down from the room to the pool and received a loud attendant scream at me which was unpleasant.

Beautiful hotel with a great restaurant, good parking

Hotel food was ok. Dessert was not very impressive. Pool is great!!! Love the rooms and staff was accommodating!

Super fun hotel. Love the art. Great pool area and within walking distance of many good restaurants.

I only stayed one night but enjoyed my time at the Saguaro Scottsdale. Everything was great.

Great location near old town - easy walk to restaurants, shopping. Facility was very nice and staff was wonderful.

Fantastic property....very much in style...great staff

My girlfriend and I needed a night away from her roommate. The Saguaro sold us on location, price, and having a hot tub. We only stayed for a night, but didn't leave property as everything we needed was right there! Hot tub and heated pool and even 2 for 1 Margs at the bar!
