This is an older property in the center of old town. A great location with easy access to all the shops and restaurants. A lot of updates need to be made to the rooms. Air conditioning was out in the first room we checked into. The staff was very polite. The pool area is great drinks are a little spendy so don’t go on a budget.

When we got back to our room at 11 PM we discovered our AC was not working. The staff member on duty was unable to accommodate and we ended up just packing up and heading home as it was supposed to be a staycation. Very disappointing.

The front desk staff during check-in were pleasant but did not explain anything about the property or how to get to our room and they were doing a pretty poor job at trying to calm down and irate guest. The room was okay. I guess the pictures are way better than in person. It could definitely use a major overhaul. We then got locked out of our room for about an hour cuz our key code wouldn't work and none of the other key codes they were giving us would work and their maintenance wasn't sure where a physical key was and it was. You know 115 outside so it was pretty warm. I will say that one of the managers did help us out and walked us back to our room and was very friendly and took a portion of our bill off which was very nice so that was nice. I would say overall the property was just okay for us and we probably would not go back there again but the location's very convenient and the price was right at the time

Reservation that was made was completely messed up upon arrival.. the front desk attendant Evelyn was absolutely horrible, rude, very passive aggressive and confrontational with guest because of lack of communication between the staff.. her service would make any individual never visit this hotel again.

Quirky retro hotel, lobby is separate from rooms.

And affordable quirky retro hotel, right in the heart of downtown Scottsdale. Perfect for an overnight stay and shotsdale for going to the performing arts center, which is a quick 2 minute walk away. Signage for check-in could be greatly improved. The lobby is a separate building from the actual hotel. And there's no signage to indicate this when you arrive. The room was clean and comfortable. And we will definitely stay there again, especially for the price!
