For four days, basic housekeeping standards were not met. Our room was not cleaned, the bed was not made, and trash was not removed, towels not replaced even after multiple calls requesting service. As a family that keeps an orderly home and makes our beds daily, I certainly do not expect to have to do so while staying at a four-star property.
What was most disappointing was not just the lapse in service, but the repeated need to follow up on commitments that were made. When a resolution is offered, I expect it to be handled promptly and without additional effort on my part. That consistency is part of the brand promise.
As a Hilton Honors member, I chose this property with an expectation of reliability and elevated service. Unfortunately, this stay did not reflect that standard and was a real downer for our precious family time away.
We had to move rooms 4 times and things were still not satisfactory. We were promised by two different parties to have the resort fees waived and that didn’t happen and I have a new charge on my bill since we left that I have no idea what it is for. Never again.
