We got, what we thought, was a great room. A King Suite. Unfortunately, the room was right over the laudry room, and the heat exchanger, for the dryers, was right out side our door. At about 9:30PM each night, the room would start vibrating, and there would be a constant sound of water filling machines. This would last until approximately 11:30 PM. When we called the desk to complain, although they sounded friendly, could only offer a lesser room as an exchange. We decided to tough it out. There was no offer, of any kind, from the hotel, as an apology. Free drink in the bar-nothing. I would not take a chance of staying there again.

Convenient, amenities, friendly and early morning hikes in the mountains! Nice pool, good bar food.

Very beautiful resort that appears to be recently remodeled. Wonderful pools and beautiful scenery. Lookout golf course was amazing. Resort was built into the side of a mountain so bring good shoes.

I did not get the deal I signed i up for. the room was good but not the one I wanted and location on property was less than optimal

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. I wasn't homesick during my 5 nights stay at all. Wish they have a microwave in the room, would of made my stay even more pleasant. Overall, I would definitely stay again.

A birthday stay-cation at the Pointe was a nice break from the summer routine. Kids enjoyed the nice beach pools and fast water slide, as well as the comfy beds. Our family suite was roomy for six with doors allowing for privacy/quiet. Overall, nice getaway!

The waterfalls and pools provided just the relaxing tranquility I needed for a wonderful vacation

I checked in for Father's Day weekend. I was aware of the $27 daily resort fee but upon check in I was told I needed to make a $300 cash deposit for any "incidentals" well that was going on 2 weeks ago and I haven't got my money credited back to my account yet. Besides that the place was okay--probably better for golf enthusiast. I doubt I would ever stay again.

Close to the mountains and nice golf course. Food and service was also good.

Hotel suite was small & everything was extra, there was not even a microwave in the room so you couldn't reheat any of the food you had to buy. Staff was very friendly & it has amazing views, parking is also very difficult.

Started going there over 20 years ago and so much better a long time ago. Hotel needs tiles around pool fixed and new paint inside and out. Adult pool needs their bar to stay open longer and falls pool closes too early also. Prices need to go down to get more people into resort and they should offer more discounts for long time customers. Will probably not go back for a number of years and can hope for some upgrades to the resort.

Overall, we had a great stay. Room was clean and had almost everything we needed or wanted. If I had any suggestions to make, it would be these. First...The room we stayed in was right outside the family pool. There were two gates going into the pool that were right outside our door. Every time someone would go in or out the gates, they would slam loudly. You would think that they could put something on those to allow them to close more softly and not so loudly. It is, after all, a place where people sleep. Second... the room does not come with a microwave. Not a necessity, but would have been nice. Third... the sliding glass door going out to the balcony was incredibly hard to open. My wife had to use both hands every time. May have just been the room we were in, but should be fixed. Aside from these things, our stay was exceptional. The people and the amenities were great. We would definitely go back again.

Hotel staff were wonderful! Great great place to stay. We WILL be staying here again. The one thing that sucked is the cheap toilet paper, lol. Nice hotel, but cheap cheap toilet paper. Love the option to pick a pool. We didn't want kids around, so we stuck to the 21 & up pool. Wonderful place to stay :)

The setting is spectacular, with gorgeous mountain views. The rooms are very nicely furnished and are spacious and private. This was our second time here. The front desk staff are exceptional. However, many of the other service staff (in the large pool areas, and in the bar at Point in Tyme Restaurant) were not well trained and not attentive. In a virtually empty bar at 4:00 p.m. on a Friday, two hungry east coast travelers (feeling like it was 7:00 pm, on our internal clocks) had a very hard time getting the bartender's attention after the first drink. She was busy chatting with other non-busy staffers. We waited 30 minutes to see her again, and asked when the restaurant would open or if the bar had a menu. Oh, would you like a menu?, she asked nonchalantly. After ordering, it took 45 minutes for us to receive our very simple sandwiches. At this time, there were still very few guests in the restaurant. The next evening at the pool, we encountered a very similar experience. We watched how one section of tables filled up with guests and yet the servers/ staff were all chit-chatting too long/ frequently with themselves or with a very few guests who were not ordering food or drinks. Food was always very tasty, so almost worth the wait.

Many reviews said this property is a bit run down, so finding it a bit run down was not a surprise. We found it very clean, unlike some reviewers. There was only one water glass in the room. We asked for a second glass on the second of our six days. We were given 2 glasses that day, but never again. On checkout we mentioned this and were told there was a one glass per room policy. We also only had one bar of soap to share between the bathtub in one room and the sink in the other - but the request for 2 soaps worked, and we had soap for both of them for the rest of the stay. Unlike many hotels there was no request to save water by hanging up towels that didn't need changing. And the towels were all changed every day, whether they were hung or not. This seems odd for a desert location, but some might consider it a plus. I found the cliffside location very fun, but I can see where a person with any sort of mobility issue would not want to stay here. When we stayed the place was half empty, and it seemed like the lack of walkways and sidewalks coupled with the narrow streets would make it very hazardous to get from point A to point B if the place were full. As it was the employees in their golf carts, pickup trucks, and vans, were a bit scary, as they drove a bit fast. Also hot weather in the summer would probably make this challenging. We found the dinner and bar food menus challenging after a day or two, but never did find a dinner place nearby that we thought was good. For breakfast I highly recommend the US Egg at 7th and Greenway Parkway (about 5 minutes North of the resort). We ate there on the way to many of our adventures, but it was very busy on Saturday. The room was spacious with a separate living room and bedroom, plus a sink in an alcove and the bathtub and toilet in a room, plus a balcony with a great view from our perch on the cliffside.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay which was in late December 2014. The hotel is of a large scale with several outdoor pools and hot tubs to enjoy. Our room was clean. The cleaning staff was great. The hotel restraunt breakfast buffet was very good with a great wait staff. My husband enjoyed walking 100 steps from our room and over to the golf green. Great walking/hiking paths for all fitness levels right across the street. I highly recommend staying here if you enjoy golf, swimming, eating, and being outdoors. Also a great location where you can walk to Walgreens, Dunkin' Donuts, Grocery Store for items to keep in the mini fridge in your hotel room.

Great Hotel/Resort, excellent pool locations throughout facility, included main one with bar. Had dinner at Different Point of view Restaruant, excellent staff, food and view. The Point in Tyme Restaruant was also excellent withdringks and service. One major drawback is that since the resort is on the side of cliffs, it is difficult to walk and one mus always has to call for a car to be driven down to lobby, which can become expensive for a compulsive tipper like myself. Other drawback, nothing else within walking distance, have to take a cab or execu- car anywhere.

The hotel is as beautiful as the pictures in advertisements and online! Comfortable, spacious, spotless guest suites! Very nice personnel: concierge is fantastic help tourist help.

Very nice hotel. A little dated but very clean and very helpful employees. Would stay here again.

We stayed in the mountain view king suite and it was a spectacular view day/night!
