Arabella Hotel Sedona

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

I recently booked at Arabella for my parents 35th wedding anniversary. I called after to see if the staff could do anything to make my parents arrival extra special and they were happy to accommodate. Upon arrival, my parents received a delivery to their room of cheesecake and a note wishing them a happy anniversary. It made them feel so special! I booked the king room with a view and the view was gorgeous from the photos they sent me. They said the room beautiful and welcoming and the staff was exceptional in all of their interactions. Although I didn't stay personally, this will be my go to next time I visit Sedona.

We visited this hotel in January which is an empty month in Sedona. The hotel staff kindly upgraded us to a fantastic room with a great balcony and view. The hotel had a hot breakfast which was pretty good. It’s a short drive away from the main shopping area in Sedona but it had good restaurants next-door. I would stay there again.

This is a beautiful hotel but so poorly staffed during Christmas week, we had to wait more than three hours to check in. The lobby was filled with guests in the same boat. Once we did get our room, we found that our shower had no curtain and the hot and cold faucets were installed backwards. The breakfast area was much too small to accommodate all the guests and had a mediocre food selection.

Everything I read about the hotel and everything told to me by the woman at the front desk was wrong. I was given a horrible room with no view because, as I was told, I had a 3rd party booking[orbitz). I was told to go put my name on the list for a reservation as I was staying at hotel and would get a pager, at the very popular restaurant connected to the hotel. They said I got no preference at the restaurant and did not get to eat at the restaurant. It was very expensive for nothing. Only good thing was the breakfast.

If you don't expect too much you won't be disappointed. The location is great. Within walking distance of restaurants, galleries, trails. The room got the job done. No complaints. The views from the breakfast room are to die for and the free breakfast is all too happy to try to kill you. It's that bad. But for the price, overall, I would probably come back.

Thank you Jackie for all your wonderful help!!!!! The desk help was also great!

Great place I would definitely return and also bring friends. The only set back is that the main pool is freezing. Please heat it.

I did not know Sedona, but after staying at the Arabella the location was perfect. Not right in the tourist section, not in the new section. The restaurant was worth the recommendation we received at a Tourist Information office. The fire pits, hot tubs, pools were so relaxing, and the workout room was above my expectations. We really enjoyed our stay there. You can tell that the property is not brand new, but the sign asking for guests to vote on the new decor was a fun way to say "we're updating".

My husband and I recently stayed at Arabella Hotel in Sedona, and we had such an amazing time! We had a trailhead room with a view and it was beautiful! Our balcony overlooked the mountains! The hotel was clean and beautifully maintained, the room was spacious, and our bed was very comfortable. The staff was amazing and so helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was great! We had the best trip to Sedona and kept saying the whole time how this would be such a hard trip to top. We look forward to returning to Sedona and will definitely stay at Arabella again!

disappointing, rooms outdated- at this level rooms should not cost more than Motel 6 ;also breakfast unhealthy

My friend and I were able to check in early! We had so much planned in our two day stay,

Very good place to stay in Sedona. Fire pits and pool are fun. Nice breakfast and easy parking!

This was a lovely hotel. They had lots of activities to do on near and around the property. I loved the private balcony. The only negative was that the shower wasn't great. We couldn't get the water to be warm, it was either hot or cold. The free breakfast was great!

This hotel was a great deal but was also clean, modern, and the staff was friendly. I really liked that it had a beautiful dog park where I could take my service dog to go to the bathroom and to play when he wasn't working. Breakfast was varied and delicious. I'm moving across the country and this was the perfect, relaxing spot on the trip. Would highly recommend.

I have stayed in much cleaner motel. When we arrived, we got our free upgrade --- so much for for that as the room we got was NOT very nice. There were 4 pillows on the bed, 3 of them got little hairs on them. The bed sheets were wrinkle. There were coffee stains or some sort of stains on the floor. Basically nasty. The bed itself wasn't comfortable. When calling front desk for new bedsheets, the girl didn't even apologize. AND the funniest thing was the supposedly clean pillow cases she brought us got hairs on them too (longer hair strands). Very smart of them. We were so glad it was only a one night stay. We will never ever come back here, even if it's FREE. If I could rate this place with 0 star, I would.

I wish I could stay in Arabella longer. It is in good location.

We stayed 2 nights in a trailhead room. The view was beautiful.

What a great experience. Friendly, professional and thoughtful staff. I would definitely stay with the hotel again. Great breakfast, well kept grounds, well appointed rooms, nice additions like live music and an astronomer. Awesome location near the center of town. Great value.

We really loved this hotel. A little bit away from uptown which we thought was nice and got us out of the traffic. One of the best continental breakfasts we've ever had. Walking distance to Elote which was our favorite restaurant of the trip. The pool was great and our room was great as well! This will be our go-to place to stay next time we're in Sedona!

Overall, very pleased with our stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the views from the grounds were excellent.
