We called the front desk at 9 PM because there was no hot water. They said they would send someone, but we heard nothing for 30 minutes. When the maintenance person finally arrived, we were told to wait another 30 minutes. The front desk simply told us that the manager would be available at 9 AM the next morning if we had any concerns, but the manager never reached out to us afterward.
When you’re traveling, an hour is incredibly valuable. We were exhausted and just wanted to shower and sleep, and my daughter had to stop in the middle of her shower and wait because of their lack of care. It was one of the worst experiences we’ve had at a hotel. Not a single person apologized.
We paid for a level of service that we absolutely did not receive, and there was no compensation whatsoever. Mechanical issues can happen, but refusing to offer even a simple apology is a serious problem. The service here stands in stark contrast to the beauty of Sedona.
I will never stay at this hotel again, and I cannot recommend it to anyone.
