Suites have a full kitchen, comfortable sofa bed, it’s own patio, and a huge bathroom with a lovely tub and large shower. It felt like a place that I should have paid 3 times as much as I did. Really great value for what you pay for. Highly recommend!

The grounds are absolutely beautiful. I stayed in a studio, so it was nice to have a kitchen. The resort is located not right in town, but only a few minutes away. The view when you leave the resort to head into town is breathtaking. They offer scheduled activities at this resort, which I loved, like crystal bowl meditation, qigong, yoga, shamanic journey, jewelry making, etc. The only bad thing is that they really try and sell you a timeshare and push you to attend a two hour presentation.

Great location and near everything you'd want to do in Sedona. While it is not within reasonable walking distance of the upper and lower Sedona downtown area it is a very short drive and away from all the traffic. The property and rooms are much nicer than the traditional hotel stay.

Loved everything about the hotel, but internet signal even with WiFi is non existent. Also, the resort is a timeshare establishment and they are very pushy about selling even after several “No, thank yous.”

The place they gave me looks like had roof leak damage recently and they didn't do a very good repair

Check was quick and friendly, Gary at the front desk was welcoming.

Nice experience renting these condos for one evening!

You need to know immediately that this is a time share complex and not a hotel. As such, there is constant pressure to get you into a time share presentation. Do not fall for the "we have a gift for you at the concierge" line which you will be given upon arrival. There are gifts, of course, but they lead to a very high-pressure two hour sales pitch to get you to buy in. Also, when I saw this hotel on Orbitz' site, I thought it looked lovely and quaint, nicely out of the bustle of town and set in the red rocks. Instead, what we got was an enormous - as in sprawling - apartment style complex. The room was very comfortable and well supplied, and had it been a traditional hotel environment I would have liked it. But it is far from that. Also, there is no housekeeping service for those who are only attending as "normal" hotel guests. I think it should be openly disclosed that places like this are time share communities and therefore a different environment than a hotel. I would have never stayed there had I known what it was. The staff is very friendly until they realize you do not want to be in a time share, and then they turn on you very quickly. I was stressed out the whole time, which is not what I came to Sedona for.

The place was nice, overall. Check in was easy and I simply advised them I wasn't interested in the "welcome package" (based on other reviews I'd read) and they didn't push any further. We first received a first floor studio, but when we tried to take a quick nap, we could hear the second floor guests stomping around. We went back and requested a second floor; they obliged. The furnishings are pretty dated, the fridge kept making a loud whirring noise, and the A/C was pretty loud too. Outside, the pools and jacuzzis were really nice (especially the Mesa jacuzzi overlooking the vista!) and the property was quiet, which was nice. The wifi was terrible throughout the property and cell service if essentially non existent, but if your point is to get away and disconnect, then it's perfect. Overall, the property was okay as a hotel, but I'm surprised they try to pitch this as a timeshare property!

The location was excellent, the staff was friendly & efficient, but the studio needed work. Several maintenance problems. Facility was like a timeshare.

We were on our cross country road trip. We have chosen Diamond Resorts hotels in three different locations, simply because we have developed trust in this Brand from our previous trips. All of the hotels we have stayed delivered consistent quality along with the matching values.

Overall great resort, lots of activities to partake in. We always like having kitchen as kids are picky, so cooking makes sense for us. Check in early to avoid the rush that occurs around 4p. Waited a bit in line, but nonetheless room was ready, nice, and clean (except for toilet, which had a ring I think due to poor function). They did fix this promptly. Great pools, especially the hot tub overlooking the pool. Great way to supervise kids. Resort was centrally located making it easy to get to every thing. The gym was respectable though limited numbers of cardio machines. Hiking, sightseeing, day trips. Sedona is relaxing and healing!

The facility and staffing were outstanding. It was quiet, very comfortable, well maintain and the service was excellent. The only two issues are the internet connection is VERY low quality, speed and connectivity. Also they state internet is included but it is a daily charge for 'free internet'. Lastly, cell service/reception in that area is VERY poor.

Our entire stay was positive with clean facilities and responsive staff that provided excellent service. We took my 97 year old mother. Even though the unit we stayed in was not an ADA room, the staff provided accommodations to make my mother's stay comfortable. Over all we had a very enjoyable stay. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

After check in, time share sales lady literally tries to follow us out of lobby. Hotel room stinks when we open door- filthy, old carpeting. Paint on walls is chipped, mismatched (patched) in areas. Fan is noisy and has one diff color blade...not what you expect for 'resort' Renevetions going on that we weren't forewarned about- pool and lobby entrance closed briefly as they were painting...very inconvenient and disruptive. Made our visit to Sedona lousy, as we could not relax at the hotel.

Location was wonderful. The hotel and staff was verry nice. I look forward to another stay.

The Hotel seems a bit dated. The view was not very good from either room we stayed. I would not plan another with his resort. The staff was very kind.

We enjoyed the place and staff were very nice. They could dial back the amount of Time trying to sell us time shares.

I have stayed at diamond many times when I come to sedona AZ.. we always enjoy our stay. It is close to many trails. And has easy access.

A nice hotel described exactly as what was presented. Parking was impacted, and we got a bad scratch on my new car backing out too close to the shake rock surrounding the lamps in the parking. My friend said he couldn't see how much it jutted out and I will have to get a paint repair job. The TV was difficult to navigate, which was unfortunate because I had a suitcase fall out if the car onto my foot and tear the skin along the bone, requiring immediate urgent care attention. The staff was very nice checking us in late, but unable to put my friends room adjoining mine, as I was bed ridden the rest of the trip with 26 stitches in my leg. Extra towels and ice were brought to the room which was so appreciated. A crying baby was in the room adjoining, even though we asked for very quiet rooms. The kitchen was nicely stocked and the rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom and cabinet space was fabulous. I would definitely stat here again and would have taken advantage of the beautiful walkway adjacent to the property, I could only walk. Keys to my room did not work after the first day.
