I liked the staff. I did not like the way the rooms were cleaned. The bed was hard and the bedding consisted of a sheet, a thin blanket, and another sheet (I think it was supposed to be a bedspread, but it was a sheet). It was cold outside.
The price was right. Just proves you get what you pay for! Not the cleanest. This was my second stay in a couple weeks, housekeeping got worse!
This was the worst hotel stay in my life. My room was only half cleaned, and when I told the front desk, they did try to move me to a new room. The new room key did not work, and then the front desk was unstaffed for the remainder of my stay. There wasn't anyone available from at least 11p to 8a, when I left. On top of the lack of staff, my room was dusty, there was trash on the floor, the bed was not made, linens were balled up, etc... There was a hole in the shower and the common spaces also look dusty/reek of smoke. I would not recommend this stay for anyone.

This hotel was very close to downtown, which was a plus. The neighborhood was a little sketchy, but I felt safe. It was very hot when we were down there and the air was not on in our room, but nothing the air conditioning couldn’t fix. There were some cracks around the bathroom, and we weren’t able to put up a do not disturb sign for housekeeping. Other than that, pretty good hotel.

There were several immediate issues at check in. The first key card did not work and had to go back to the front desk after a very long drive (we were tired and wanted to get inside and rest). Once we got into our first room it was extremely hot & muggy. The thermostat was set on 60 high & blowing hot air. Couch cushion was off, toilet seat up, lights on; as if the room was in use or had not been cleaned properly. I then returned to ask for different room & we were moved to 3rd floor where the hall air is set on 80, so very uncomfortable as we waited bc again our key card was not programmed. The receptionist had said she would watch us on the camera if we didn’t get inside our room and would bring us another key so we did not have to go back downstairs again. We waited in the heat for quite some time and finally headed downstairs for another key. The woman was kind and apologetic, however, just the check in was a huge fiasco. Considering the condition of the rooms and overall cleanliness of the hotel common areas as well as the heat—I would not stay here again and most likely would not recommend to anyone. The price of the hotel has not been worth it considering the condition and service. For what we got, I would have rather stayed in a motel 6 and spent half the money.

Nice neighborhood for St Louis Quiet. It is close to Interstate which gives easy access resturants music etc.

This was the 2nd time I stayed here and my last. Unfortunately, it only took one horrible employee with a sour disposition to ruin our stay. My reservation started by getting charged $60 more than the first stay. When I called and asked the front desk why, I was rudely told, "because those are our rates! That's why". I needed the room so I paid more. When I checked in, I was forced to pay an ADDITIONAL $25 for early check in. I asked, "why and is the room not ready yet?" I was rudely told, by the same miserable snooty lady that "that's what it says on-line", and then she proceeded to take a call in front of me and sit on the phone for 10 mins. I walked out and considered calling my credit card company to cancel reservation and get my money back. But I needed the room so I went back in and paid over $200 for this $100 room (no free breakfast either for that!). I asked for a room on the 1st floor and without checking, Ms Snoot said, NO! There are none for you. On a side note, every other person at the hotel was friendly and courteous. BUt Ms Snoot, never looked up or acknowledged us as we came and left the lobby.
