Amazing view of the Gateway arch with a convenient parking garage perfect water pressure and really hot.. The elevators could have used work they were messing up a lot and the eggs during breakfast were really nasty because they were cold and like jello also there’s no microwaves in the room that would have been convenient..The room did have a lot of outlets to plug stuff up with that was nice with a good fridge and the bathroom size was perfect

The staff was very efficient, professional and friendly, however the hotel itself was a letdown. I love staying at Hampton Inns because i know what i am getting and they have a certain level of comfort. Unfortunately, this is a very old Hampton Inn in downtown St. Louis and the wear and tear is showing. You had to wait forever for an elevator, the hallways and main areas were cramped and run down. The smell of weed was EVERYWHERE. Usually a Hampton Inn bed is my favorite, but thia one was hard and uncomfortable. There was no beauty on the building. It was dark and dank. The area downtown is especially sketchy at night. I would not stay here again.

The desk clerk was so informative about the hotel and surroundings and ŵas very personable. Our room was verÿ clean with a little streèt noise, not too bad.Difficult parking for our four door truck. Too tall for garage very small outside parking made for compact cars.

We stayed two nights in September, having come into St. Louis for a weekend of Cardinals baseball games. We chose the Hampton Inn for its close proximity to the stadium. When I checked in, the front desk was very busy helping several families check in, but when it was my turn, they made me feel very comfortable and welcome. The room was spacious and clean. Even though the hotel is right by a major highway and downtown, it was quiet. The breakfast area was well-kept, had plenty of seating, and lots of tasty options. Parking was easy in the garage. We would definitely stay again.
