Location is directly across from the Arch which makes it great if you plan to spend your time at the national park and downtown area. As for the room, we ran into several issues. First surprise was that parking was $30 for parking that is not included with the room. They also charge for any other amenity such as a microwave which needs to be requested. I am not sure if we just got unlucky with our room compared to others, but we found glass shards near our bed and the sheets are bleached so much that it feels like sleeping on a shower curtain. We were generally disappointed with this being a 4 star hotel with this level of quality.

The room size, the front desk and the view from the room were great. The room service for guest requests, the communication between front desk and the room managers were lacking everyday. Btw there's no microwave in the room. During our 4 day stay here, there were 3 main issues we had: 1) our extra blanket provided once we opened it was filled with human or pet hair, that was completely filthy and disgusting. 2) we asked for few extra items in the bathroom which we never got even after repeated requests. 3) even after paying a hefty amount of daily parking rates there were times when we returned to our hotel on busy times there were hardly any spots left and we had to double park in unauthorised spots in the garage.

It was a Very nice view of the river for the money.

View from the Arch side...corner room was amazing! Freeway runs by that side also though and so noisy!

The staff was very friendly, just a short walk to the arch, and food.

The room was smaller than normal. Hard for 2 adults to move around to get dressed and/or prepare for checkout.

Awesome location and it is next to the Arch and the stadium

Broken locking mechanism on the bathroom door trapped our 2- and 5-year-old kids. We managed to pick the lock faster than security could get there.

Clean. Room was stuffy due to humidity. Downtown St. Louis is kinda gritty.

Excellent location and friendly front desk staff. My room wasn’t as clean as it should have been (Hair on bathroom floor, candy on floor, hand prints all over mirror)—and that was especially concerning because of Covid, and Hyatt’s letter reassuring me that the room had undergone extra deep cleaning. I would return, but would check my room more carefully for cleanliness on a future visit. This was not something I expected from Hyatt.

Love the hotel and staff. Professional nice and very helpful. All that was missing was the inside pool.

Location was great and so was the food but will not stay here again
