Larkspur Landing Bellevue - An All-Suite Hotel

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Tough to see what positive reviewers experienced. Arrived at the hotel after the posted check-in time to find that room wouldn't be ready for at least an hour. Staff seemed stressed and disorganized. Room and hotel were generally run-down and dingy. Went to grab breakfast in the morning but things weren't put out at 6:45 a.m. -- must have started at 7? Either way, by 9 a.m. when I went back all the food was literally gone and the coffee was empty. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. Other than that, I didn't see redeeming qualities. Maybe I just caught it on a bad weekend? Either way, won't return to find out.

The hot tub advertised was "taken out under renovation and had a fire pit put in its place". The breakfast space didn't have enough seating nor selection. Although the main bed was comfortabl, the pull out futon, described online as a guest bed, was far from comfortable enough to pay for a sleep on.

The pictures of the rooms and the number of beds shown are false advertising. The rooms are not luxury by any means and are not clean. The only thing that was properly represented in pictures was the lobby. I made reservations for an accessible room for my elderly parent, but they failed to keep the reservation. None of the rooms have two actual beds. A 2-bed queen suite is actually 1 queen bed plus a queen pullout couch. In the lobby, there were crumbs and fingernail clippings under the glass of the coffee table. The rooms were not serviced by the housekeeping staff and there were not nearly enough towels for three people. This was all for a less-than-reasonable price.

Everything dated Won't return Poor gym Hotel housekeeping left my room open 2 nights in a row Staff were friendly

Fantastic experience. Will prefer this resort for future trips

Good amenities were provided. Easy access from interstate and to Bellevue.

Booking this hotel thru Orbitz was a mistake. We arrived at our hotel late on Friday night and the room they placed us in was one queen size bed for 4 people, not what we'd selected. The front desk crew then scrambled to make things right. They had to quickly take a room that hadn't been tended by housekeeping and prep it for us. Ariel, the front desk clerk, personally went and changed sheets and towels. Clearly we were settling since it was almost midnight and the room wasn't it's best. The bed was very lumpy, but at least we had a place to lay our head. Breakfast the next morning left a lot to be desired. Cereal was the best option. We had to ask the attendant for bananas and he seemed put out that he had to go a fetch them from somewhere else. We ended up going elsewhere for a proper breakfast. We won't be back and we wouldn't recommend staying here. They tried but this wasn't a 3 star experience.

Temp control in room good. Service good too. Rooms nothing special.

The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was large, clean and comfortable. It had the feel of a small apartment.

Always a great place to stay! Close enough to everything.

Only complaints we had were the location (not close to anywhere we wanted to go) and a noisy knock in the refrigerator that we had to turn it off in order to sleep at night. Breakfast was about a 5 on a 1 to 10 scale.

The hotel was a little difficult to find but when we got there the hotel was great and I wish that they would have a guide for the TV in the room.

A little hard to find, although signs help. Just off the I-90, so easy access to the whole Eastside. Comfortable room, and kitchenette a big plus. Attractive decor. Breakfast fine; expanded continental.

The breakfast was very short on items with 45 minutes left. My stay was fine with comfortable rooms but the advertised breakfast was until 10:00 on Sunday morning and should have been stocked until the advertised time.

Room, location, and stay were OK. Towels were substandard, breakfast was lacking for a hotel of the quality.

Nice room with large bathroom. Would recommend led bulbs in kitchen area. Kitchen was a bit dark to use.

Can not get cell service or WiFi service in your room. Hotel staff calls the room repeatedly before 10:00pm to ask you to turn down the volume on the TV in your room. Rooms only have King beds, they do not offer 2 beds at all in any rooms. Hotel staff not very accommodating. Location of the hotel is very remote, difficult to find and drive to unless you know the area. Hotel is located right next to the very busy interstate of I-90, therefore, you hear road noise, traffic, horns and sirens all night and all day long.

My room was clean but sink did not drain well and kitchen faucet sprayed in all directions. Complimentary breakfast was adequate. Did NOT like the dog hairs on the carpet in the room or the way the bathrooms stuck out into the room. Cheap quality finishings. Seems like it's a former skilled nursing facility made over -- uninspiring and sort of clinical.

It's a great hotel for reasonable price. My room was so nice and clean. The people work at the reception desk are so great. Best experience ever

Nice on the go breakfast good variety. Clean friendly staff. Good value for the money. Would recommend this to a friend. Hotel kind of hidden away. Area does not offer much food choices

Dear Anonymous, I apologize for the less than full satisfactory experience during your stay. The "hot tub" for this Larkspur Landing Bellevue Washington location has not been advertised for almost two years. The hot tubs are being replaced at all 11 Larkspur Landing Hotels. As with all of our locations none were built with a full service restaurant and kitchen, the hotels provide a selection of what are quick "healthy start" options. A few of the hotels are in the process of adding kitchens to provide the hot food, the seating areas currently can not be enlarged as this is a major construction project with significant costs.

Dear Savvy Traveler, A great review and thank you for the rating. The hotel is a great location outside of the "city hustle and bustle" located in the Eastgate area of Bellevue short distance from the I 90 but far enough away to not hear the traffic noise. The advantage of having a Large and popular church as our adjoining neighbour is that they are also quiet. Each room is fitted with a Kitchen that has the basic including a full size fridge and microwave . Other amenities include complimentary basic healthy start breakfast with a limited menu but sufficient to get the grab-n-go start to the day. Free use of the business center, fitness center, laundry washer and dryers. Regards, Nigel Williams, GM

Dear Traveler. I apologize for the poor experience described. I am researching the confusion of the booking through Orbitz to accommodate four. All of the rooms at this hotel only have one bed, these are either a standard U.S queen or standard U.S king bed. The rooms with queen beds are our studio style and the king rooms have a bedroom. The king rooms also have a hide-a-way or sofa bed in the front room. All rooms are designed for the longer stay and are equipped with a kitchenette and utensils. The front desk agent Ariel is an asset and I am glad to see that she did try to accommodate you. Thanks again, Nigel Williams, GM.
