Larkspur Landing Bellevue - An All-Suite Hotel

3.0 out of 5.0

Older fixtures and furnishings need updating. Nice staff, good location but the Bellvue location at least does not look like the photos

Everything was great except for the fact that the heater kicked on around every hour at night to keep the room warm and it was so loud that I couldn’t sleep. I should have asked to change rooms but I didn’t. The complementary breakfast has tons of options so that was nice. Even though we were way outside Seattle, it only took us 15 minutes to get there by Uber which was only $19.

Did my research and read reviews on multiple travel sites and when I found a killer deal I was excited. Upon arrival the hotel is difficult to find. It is nice, quiet, and tucked away but easy access to freeways. The room is spacious; however it is in need of upkeep and maintence. Found the wallpaper peeling in multiple areas, what looks to be black mold in some caulking, and in the second night of our stay found the tv had sound but no picture. Front desk did offer to move us rooms but it would have been more of a hassle. The website boasts of a “healthy” breakfast. Found it to be very limited and rather sugar/carb-loaded items. Very few gluten free options. The breakfast area was rather small and cramped-not well organized flow. Overall disappointed, especially with how highly it is rated on several travel sites.

The room is clean and comfy. Bed is little small for a king size one, but lucky it was okay for me. Overall, it’s great place to stay.

Simple and enjoyable. The check in was quick. The wifi was very fast with the option to plug into the wall with laptop in room with cord. The room was spacious. Complementary laundry onsite. Front desk staff were welcoming. Very warm feeling. Highly recommend.

We needed last minute lodging for one night and got a great rate at Larkspur Landing. It isn't super trendy and that's just fine with me. Everything was clean. The suite was spacious. The staff polite and helpful.

I was there 3 days for a training, the hotel is close to the location and the highway, the room was clean, quiet and even had a convenient kitchenette.

Hotel is great, staff shows little concern about you or your well being at the front desk.

I expected a lot more for a 4 out of 5 rating. Room was genrally clean. Old cupboards and decorations. Bed was okay for one person as I slept okay but was bowed and looked worn. Cheaper than most hotels in the area. Seemed safe. Dark room on first floor looking out the window at the base of the hill only 10 or 15 feet away.

Tough to see what positive reviewers experienced. Arrived at the hotel after the posted check-in time to find that room wouldn't be ready for at least an hour. Staff seemed stressed and disorganized. Room and hotel were generally run-down and dingy. Went to grab breakfast in the morning but things weren't put out at 6:45 a.m. -- must have started at 7? Either way, by 9 a.m. when I went back all the food was literally gone and the coffee was empty. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. Other than that, I didn't see redeeming qualities. Maybe I just caught it on a bad weekend? Either way, won't return to find out.

The hot tub advertised was "taken out under renovation and had a fire pit put in its place". The breakfast space didn't have enough seating nor selection. Although the main bed was comfortabl, the pull out futon, described online as a guest bed, was far from comfortable enough to pay for a sleep on.

The pictures of the rooms and the number of beds shown are false advertising. The rooms are not luxury by any means and are not clean. The only thing that was properly represented in pictures was the lobby. I made reservations for an accessible room for my elderly parent, but they failed to keep the reservation. None of the rooms have two actual beds. A 2-bed queen suite is actually 1 queen bed plus a queen pullout couch. In the lobby, there were crumbs and fingernail clippings under the glass of the coffee table. The rooms were not serviced by the housekeeping staff and there were not nearly enough towels for three people. This was all for a less-than-reasonable price.

Everything dated Won't return Poor gym Hotel housekeeping left my room open 2 nights in a row Staff were friendly

Fantastic experience. Will prefer this resort for future trips

Good amenities were provided. Easy access from interstate and to Bellevue.

Booking this hotel thru Orbitz was a mistake. We arrived at our hotel late on Friday night and the room they placed us in was one queen size bed for 4 people, not what we'd selected. The front desk crew then scrambled to make things right. They had to quickly take a room that hadn't been tended by housekeeping and prep it for us. Ariel, the front desk clerk, personally went and changed sheets and towels. Clearly we were settling since it was almost midnight and the room wasn't it's best. The bed was very lumpy, but at least we had a place to lay our head. Breakfast the next morning left a lot to be desired. Cereal was the best option. We had to ask the attendant for bananas and he seemed put out that he had to go a fetch them from somewhere else. We ended up going elsewhere for a proper breakfast. We won't be back and we wouldn't recommend staying here. They tried but this wasn't a 3 star experience.

Temp control in room good. Service good too. Rooms nothing special.

The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was large, clean and comfortable. It had the feel of a small apartment.

Always a great place to stay! Close enough to everything.

Only complaints we had were the location (not close to anywhere we wanted to go) and a noisy knock in the refrigerator that we had to turn it off in order to sleep at night. Breakfast was about a 5 on a 1 to 10 scale.

Dear Jessica, I apologize for the Tv issues, this has been resolved with a reprogramming of the unit. The Breakfast menu is limited because this is not a full service facility, there is no restaurant or kitchen. Each comes fully equipped with kitchens. Our breakfast is a limited offering as a "grab n go" or "quick start" option that includes an assortment of Pastries, bagels and breads, Yogurts of all sorts, Milk selection that includes Regular, 2%, Almond and Soy. Juices include Apple, Orange, Pineapple, Cranberry and V8. Cereals of all varieties and other items. The ratings are provided by many other savvy travelers. Regards,
