I needed a hotel to stay at while I took some testing. This was the closest hotel. When I checked in I was told that there was an issue with the boiler and that “You may have hot water or you may not.” The boiler issue wasn’t supposed to be fixed till the next day. I asked if I could possibly get a discount on my room, since I may not be able to shower the entire time of my stay. I was told that since I booked through Orbitz, they couldn’t do anything for me. Since my stay, I am having to deal with credit card charges from the credit card hold they put on my card. They have not refunded me all my money. I have called twice and got nowhere.

The hydrotherapy hot tub was nice. Wish it was more self explanatory to use but it was great!

Beside the fact that it was very cold in the room when we arrived, everything was just fine

The hotel check in was smooth and quick, but we were disappointed to hear that the pool and spa was closed. We always book hotels with pools for our kids and spas because on vacation, well, we like to relax. We selected this hotel over another because of the pool. When we got there we were informed that it was closed, even though the website said differently. The rooms were clean and looked like they had been recently updated, but they were VERY small. Not a big deal since we didn't spend a ton of time in the room. We found that being outside downtown Seattle was a nice touch, not as much traffic or noise in that area of town - also very close to the mall and I-5. Getting in and out of the hotel was a bit of a nightmare since there is a huge median that prevents you from turning directly into the hotel so you end up having to do a lot of turn-arounds to get into the parking area. Also, there is a nice place to eat in front of the hotel that has pretty good food, but there is not enough parking for how busy that restaurant is AND the hotel guests. The breakfast was good and the selection of breakfast foods was good. Everything from basic breakfast to vegitirian and gluten free. All in all, if you are on a budget it's a good place to stay. But I think next time we will spring for a hotel that has a bit more room in their rooms, better parking, better accessibility and that updates their information letting people know when the pool is closed.

We were experienced the bedbugs in this hotel. The bed sheet is very smelly like some one peed in there. The pillow sheet is smelly too. Overall these need to be changed.

Wonderful staff; clean room; nice amenities; great breakfast. Will definitely return.

Good hotel free parking and only 15 to 20 mins from downtown and 10 mins from UW medical center

The elevator was out of order for a full day, and I was on the third floor. Breakfast was very average. The staff, however, was very nice, and my room was kept clean and serviced daily. Location is great for what I need, and I will stay there again! The biggest down side is the room doors are on the exterior of the hotel. I prefer hallway doors.

The staff was friendly and the hotel good overall, but there were a few small things I noticed and when we first checked in they put us in a room that wasn't fully cleaned yet. They quickly moved us and it ended well.

Came to Seattle to visit family. This was our first trip. I would stay here again. Good value for the price and we were in no rush to go anywhere. All amenities are close by. We have a daughter with severe food allergies and always stay close by an ER if needed. Closest hospital ER was .8 miles away.

After our wonderful check in experience, things weren't as great. The room was fine, but when we returned around 5pm the next day from our day out, our room had still not been attended to by staff. At about 6pm, we received a knock on the door so we were able to get clean towels at that point. Not having a bed made and clean towels when you return from a day out, doesn't sit too well with me. This was the one major issue I had and upon check out, I wasn't even asked how my stay was.

The room was clean and the service professional. I did not like the stairs on the 4th floor. I expected there to be no stairs because of the elevator. I would have liked the staff to have told me that I would have stairs.

I love the Japanese SPA rooms, but they are hit or miss when it comes to cleanliness.

The hotel was great, just what we expected and more. Check in and out was a breeze. No problem whatsoever. Will come back if in the area.

the staff was rude and unhelpful. the room was dirty, smelly and the location was exceptionally noisey

I was pleasantly surprised at the level of comfort and cleanliness of the hotel. Convenient, being right off I5, and on the same road my daughter and family live off of in Ballard. The price was decent and with specials will be more of a bargain in the future.

On checking in I discovered the TV in the adjoining unit was either very loud or positioned next to my bed. The staff gave me another room. A family with small children moved into the adjoining unit. The children were very loud until 10PM, and resumed their noise at 6AM. When I inquired, the staff explained the family was moving out at noon. After that all was well.

I don't have any idea how this hotel gets three stars. The beds were tired and the pillows are the kind that no matter what you do you just can't find a comfortable position. The window opens about three inches which is just right for the cigarette smoke from people standing on the outside walkway enjoying their middle of the night cigarette and conversation to waft right in your room. I finally fell asleep around 3 or 4 in the morning.

You could hear neighbors on either side talking and every word they said and loud footsteps above. The best thing was the location near where we wanted to visit family, but otherwise would never stay there again.

I stayed in the Japanese spa room it had a Nice Jacuzzi near bedside perfect for 2. Huge flat screen tv, room had a fridge, hair dryer, a rainfall shower, king size bed and an alarm clock with iPhone/iPod dock and also had a aux cord to plug into our phone so we played Pandora while we lit some candles and sipped some wine in our in room Jacuzzi. Very romantic night and when we needed something from the store 7/11 was outside our room as well as Saffron Grill, another gas station and Starbucks! Convienient location right off highway and tight down the street from Northgate mall. Only thing we disliked was the construction goin on outside the hotel but that should be over with soon. Staff was awesome and super nice and the breakfast was actually yummy compared to other hotel breakfast, we loved our stay and we will be back!
