Wonderful and iconic.
This is certainly one of the top 5 hotels in Scottsdale (I have stayed at them all!). Amazing Grounds, Amazing Employees, beautiful golf course. The only drawback is location, and depending on your plans may be no drawback whatsoever. This property could not be further North in Scottsdale, if you are sightseeing, or like the bar or restaurant scene, it will take you 45Min to get to the downtown area. This being said I have lived in Scottsdale 6-mts a year for over 30years. This is by far my favorite resort to go to relax and get away. Best experience will be had by being GENEROUS to the golf cart drivers... They rock! So if Canadian, go elsewhere....

Everything was fantastic! The property was beautiful, the room was clean, and the food and drinks were very good. Will most definitely be back and would highly recommend to friends and family.

This was an incredibly beautiful property! It's nice there are some on campus dining options, as well as recreation including a spa, a golf course, full size chess, nature walks, and more. It's nice they offer free bottled water; this came in handy with the heat. The free golf cart rides were also a very nice inclusion, as this hotel is very spread out, so it's nice to be able to get where you want to go faster and easier. When we first arrived here, we didn't know you have to take the driveway ALL the way back; we had pulled into the spa thinking that was the hotel but it wasn't....make sure you follow the road all the way back and look for the guest registration signs. That was my only slight complaint is that things should be labeled more clearly. The campus is amazingly beautiful with a ton of nature and wildlife since it's on such a large property. Our rooms were beautiful, spacious, and clean! We were incredibly satisfied with our stay here!
The staff was exceptional addressing our requests in a very engaging professional manner. The food was good and again with waiters being professional and accommodating of our dietary requests. However, extremely disappointed with the condition of the casitas especially the exterior. Cracks, cables, dry rot everywhere. The pathways and knee walls around the casita clusters are in bad shape with patches everywhere. The interior of the casitas need updating. My summation the staff is great the property is in need of major repair and updating. Btw, landscape outside of the casitas is immaculate.
We've stayed at Boulders approximately 8 times. Love everything about it. Property is always peaceful and beautiful!

Driving into the property you feel like you are entering a different world. You get the beauty of the desert landscape sprinkled with large boulder formations. It’s absolutely beautiful and calming. Our room was large with a sitting area and fireplace which was very welcoming. We had views of the 6th green of the South course and koi pond from our balcony. The staff was extremely responsive and available for golf cart transport throughout the property. I’m not sure we ever had to wait more than 5 minutes. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and experience!
