I liked the location of the hotel even though it was on the quieter end of Ashford. I didn't like the strange smell in the hallway (2nd floor) nor did I like the rats I saw at the pool. The hotel is older and needs updating and repairs.

Property is not bad, but the bay view that I paid for was a view of concrete roof. The rooms are so close together, you can see your neighbors room from the balcony. You can also hear everything with the thin walls. Water pressure was low and not very hot for the shower. The beach is very close by and the pool area with the bar was the best part.

Some employees have a terrible attitude for no reason. I had an argument with a employee by the name Cesar at Concierge trying to get my luggages. He was yelling and was very aggressive with me for no reason.m

(Review during covid) The hotel sits on its own private beach which is great for guests when curfew kicks in (10pm), or so we thought. The inconsistency of guidance amongst the staff is atrocious. No one was ever on the same page. One person told my party it’s a private beach so guests can go after curfew. The next night when we attempt to go, a different staff member stops us because cops are patrolling the beach so we should be careful since it’s public property. Don’t get your hopes up for going to the beach on Monday & getting beach chairs/towels early, the chair guy came an hour late for his shift & everyone acted like that was normal. Don’t expect to eat/drink at the pool at a decent hour either. Drinks aren’t served until 11 but the cook doesn’t show up until noon. Our itinerary had breakfast included but when I asked Robert, the concierge, he said the hotel offers breakfast only through certain 3rd parties when making a reservation and not all of them offer it (Orbitz is not one of them). The hotel also doesn’t have a community microwave so prepare to eat whatever meals you have out and not keeping leftovers. I inquired about how our room didn’t have a microwave in it but somehow the fridge was in the bathroom.. I was told, again, guests had to book that through a 3rd party. As for cleanliness, my hotel bed had fruit loops under it when we first walked in. When we reported it someone came to mop the floors. Besides that it was as clean as a hotel can get.

It was very stressful to check in in the morning, after waiting all day for my room !! They did not give me the agreed room, they gime a room a room in the other building, they are two completely different hotels. that room had a stamp of having been cleaned !! but to surprise it was not, the tables are dirty, the doors ...I ask cleaning lady she say yo me tTHAT ROOM IS NOT CLEAN !! that was not safe !! I returns to the reption and after waiting another 30 min, they give me another room but it was not the agreed room! One of the reasons why I called days in advance was to avoid stress, I didn't mind paying more! but they put me in more stress !! I just want you to be sure those rooms are disinfected !! remember there are still Covi in puerto rico ,, very poor customer service! but the people in the pool and the beach area super nice! Vivian she was in the reception in the morning she was good she tray to helping me .. if I recommend this hotel maybe NOT !!

No microwave in room bathrooms very small

It was a beautiful experience how ever I was hungry the hotel should have a convenient market inside some type of food service because restaurants were booked after 9 nothing open no microwaves in room that’s essential

So here's the thing, reviews aren't my thing. HOWEVER, it was completely necessary in this case. All I have to say is PLEASE KEEP LOOKING. Location is great but the cleanliness of room we paid 332.00 for was absolutely HORRENDUS. Curtains have mold all over them, the cherry wood furniture had finger prints ALL OVER that clearly have

Room wasn’t clean when arriving, neither did housekeeping visit, had to go downstairs to the manager to report it twice

Let me first say if it wasn’t for the view from our room we would’ve checked out the same day we arrived. Hotel is old, staff is pretty much non-existent, nobody answered the phone at concierge so we could book activities. The pool did not social distance, the elevator did not work so we had to wait forever to go back and forth. The security would not allow my 11 & 14 yrs old children into the hotel because they weren’t included in our room we had to wait 15 mins for hotel staff to assist it was a pure mess!!!

This is a great location! Beautiful views, easy walk to shops and restaurants. Very resort like feel.

The excellent service from the staff. Clean room and very comfortable.

Man this resort is amazing. Huge hotel with great service and high safety and covid precautions. Mask wore at all time and safety is first here. But the resort has the best pools and access to a calm beachfront u can swim in and lay out. Very close to restaurants and nightlife! Excellent location and service! Its a must i stay at Condado Plaza Hilton when I’m In Puerto Rico!
