No good I stay there for two day and they charge me two caceletion day extra cuz they did have the day I want it

They checked us into a room next to where they serve breakfast which sounds good when you write it but not when you are trying to sleep through the crashing pots and pans and loud workers screaming. We couldn’t get any sleep the bed was dirty they didn’t offer us anything better. It was the worst hotel I’ve ever been too the pool is so small you can only fit 3 people in there comfortably.

Staff very friendly. Food and drinks were great. View of city amazing. Pool smaller than advertised.

They had free bikes to borrow! And a great free breakfast! And great recommendations!

I expected so much more from this hotel. First off, let me say that the hotel staff themselves were very kind, courteous, and timely . That being said, the room itself was awful. I stayed in the Signature Suite and thank god it was only one night because the room smelled like old socks. The sofa bed also smelled the same way...maybe worse. The water was nowhere near hot and the water pressure was meager at best. There was a enclosed shower/toilet space, and outside that was a hot tub. I wish it had said that there was no door to the outer section of the bathroom in the hotel listing because I was not going to get naked with family. The surrounding area was also very off putting, when I came out in the morning there were some men clearly spaced out wandering in the street and I passed by a discarded syringe on the ground. I had heard that Miramar was more of an upscale area so this was shocking.

The good - 1. Breakfast was always great and it is included in the price. 2. Shuttle to beach is included, and offers chairs and umbrella setup, too. 3. Internet was reliable. The bad - 1. Drilling and hammering in the middle of the night, TWICE! Who on earth plans construction work inside a hotel at 2:00 am? This was not for emergency work. When asked, the front desk staff lamely offered to switch our room (it was 2:30 am on our last night there), and said they would check on it. It didn’t stop until someone had to get nasty with the complaints. 2. They couldn’t book tour guides, even though the Sheraton could do it for us, and we weren’t even staying there. (The Sheraton treated us very well. We had friends staying there and they highly recommended it.) 3. It was always noisy, from the ice machines, hallway traffic, and sounds from other rooms. 4. The restaurant didn’t have a table available for two dinner guests, even though the place was practically empty. Reservations were not required, according to the advertisements posted in the elevators and in the lobby. We found ourselves having dinner elsewhere. (Again, the Sheraton was nice.)

A terrible hotel with fancy pictures online. Don’t be fooled! We are attracted here due to fancy photos of its roof pool. However, this hotel is generally horrible and didn’t worth its price. 1. The valet guy who are supposed to stand outside and park your car is sitting in the lobby playing his phone. You will have to ask him to do the parking for you. 2. The elevator is super slow. There are two reasons. First reason, its running algorithm is poor. A upward elevator shouldn’t stop for going down request. But the elevator just stop anyway if there’s someone press a button in any direction. The second reason is that their employees are frequently using the same elevator with hotel guests. 3. All the employees you can see anywhere are not professional. They are laughing, joking, and playing mobile phone all the time. When I called a room maintenance, the worker came with a can of beer in his hand! 4. The bathroom is poorly designed. As you can see in the picture, the curtain can only cover half way of the bath and water is coming out all the time. The shower handle is not firm too. Also once I turn on the shower, I can hear large boiler noise and feel it’s vibrating! Excuse me? Am I living in a luxury room? 5. The pool in the roof is incredibly small, which can fit four to five people maximum and not comfortable at all! Don’t be fooled by its picture. There are lots of awesome hotels in Puerto Rico. Please avoid this place and don’t let it ruin your vacation.

My room floor was sticky and not clean. Staff members was ok, not very welcoming or hospitality friendly at the front desk.

The bed was very comfortable but I was upset about the pool was to small

I stayed at this hotel in September 2019 with my girlfriend. The only thing luxury about Ciqala Luxury Suites is it’s title. The only thing that saved this review from getting one star would be the fact that the hotel was cozy. Otherwise, you will see that the rooftop bar/pool is a small area that is preferential to its attending guests, but given priority to outside guests. The hostess told my girlfriend and I several times that we couldn’t sit at the table or bar because it was reserved, but there was no one there. Come to find it was reserved for outside guests. The ladies who worked there gave me nasty looks and made me feel very uncomfortable. And didn’t even think about getting in that small pool that fits one and a half person. Ciqala only benefit was how close to the airport it was. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Nice little hotel. Centric location. Very attentive staff. Wold recomend.

Lovely place, friendly and helpful staff. You really can't use the pool because it's in the middle of the restaurant and small. But the restaurant is incredible. I recommend renting a car. The location is pretty far walking distance from the beach, restaurants and casino.

The staff was very friendly & responsive. However, the property is not 4 star level as listed.

Location to the beach and restaurants and the roof top pool was awesome

Overall I had an excellent stay, I only found two issues wrong with the place. I arrived at 3:15pm and was not allowed to check in until 5:20pm, now they did offer complementary drinks and gave me a 50 dollar voucher towards the mini bar. And the second thing was the noise now its out of the hotels control but the liquor store adjacent from the property has a few loud stragglers and bums that hang out till 2am. Although every issue i had was fixed within the hour. The people that work there are very friendly and deal with a lot. I am glad I supported a local hotel to get the full experience of Puerto Rico. I would gladly come back but i would get a bigger room.
