The decor and friendliness of the staff is exceptional!

Very nice location. Plenty of shopping and dining to choose from. Easy walk to almost everywhere!

Absolutely love this hotel - have been here several times over the past few years and it only gets better and better! Exceptional service - friendly and efficient. Price is affordable - location cannot be beat. Don’t miss out on this boutique hotel!

Wonderful decor, great breakfasts, cleanliness, attentiveness, and the top deck lounge area are all great assets.

The decor upon entry gets you thinking this hotel is very eclectic and funky. Unfortunately this only gets them so far. I haven't had a negative review from a recent 7 week 3 country tour till my last night at the Casablanca. We are not fussy people. Went without electricity for 9 months at a small casita we own on the west side of PR. Unfortunately, the Casablanca doesn't live up to the previous reviews. Elevator still not working, night manager seemed to be in a funk when arriving just before midnight. In the morning wanted a coffee and didn't even attempt the crazy little machine in the room. Went to the restaurant of sorts where one other couple was and received 2 very small, tiny cups of potted coffee. When leaving he said that would be 4.67. Ok, go back to the room and find enough hair on the shower wall to make a wig. Time to check out the rooftop tubs. Careful, very wet, rotted boards, some broken. Did not find this boutique hotel to be up to snuff in many ways, cleanliness, safety, amenities, staff, overall value. Much better choices in old San Juan for very similar pricing.

the staff was really delightful except for the first clerk who finished texting before addressing me.

Staff was great! Very welcoming, helpful and attentive. Lobby was pleasant to spend time in, especially liked the looping of the movie Casablanca. Bed was comfortable, bathroom and amenities were very good. A tablet was provided in the room which made it very easy to check email, find information for sight seeing etc. Location was terrific; making everything in Old San Juan a walkable distance. Close to restaurants of all types and both historic forts. Enjoyed the roof top terrace. Only two drawbacks to this hotel: room had no window to the outside though there was one in the corridor just outside the room door, and there was no room service or morning coffee service (except for the coffee maker located in the room - this was not a drawback since there were so many places close by). Would highly recommend.

The hotel is conveniently located at the center of old San Juan. It is very convenient to walk around points of interest and accessible for many restaurants, convenient store and grocery. The room does not have outside window but has windows let lights come into the room. Since it is in old San Juan and likely was built long time ago, the hotel and rooms are situated in a old structure. Because of narrow alley room, there is hardly any noise from traffic. All-in-all, a good choice if someone plans to walk around and stay in old San Juan. If someone looks for a luxury accommodation, this is not the place to be. Free Wifi does not really work well for us.

Charming hotel in central location- easy walk ability to everything. Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful.

Great location in Old San Juan. Nice décor reminiscent of the "theme." The elevator wasn't working while we were there, and it wasn't fixed until the day we left, but the staff was great at accommodating everyone and minimizing the inconvenience as much as possible. We had trouble with the air conditioning in our room-- it was actually way TOO cold, and we ended up just turning it off, and turning it on for short periods when it got too hot or stuffy. The concrete floors in the room were not very comfortable, and we could hear every time someone above us moved a chair. It's an old hotel, so we expected a certain amount of inconvenience, but the room was really small, so a queen bed instead of a king would have been better. The bed was very comfortable, though. The hotel is currently being expanded with the addition of 25 rooms, and I hope they will also refurbish the older rooms. Because of the expansion they had closed the restaurant and bar -- hopefully they will open them up again when the work is complete. We would have enjoyed having it open.

Nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff in a central location in old san juan. We were able to walk to everything that we wanted. Just a few blocks from the cruise port so if we ever do a cruise out of san juan or just come back to visit again, we would definately be staying at CasaBlanca hotel.

Hotel is great , so clean , staff is great , rooms were so cold and always clean , I loved it !

Location is great. The rooms were comfortable but a little small.

Comfortable and quiet. Excellent desk staff, who were able to recommend great coffee shops and restaurants.

It was great will stay there in the future.

We had 3 rooms, each was very different!! Beautiful hotel!! Close to bars and great restaurants. Will definitely come back!! Very knowledgable staff!!
