Room was filthy. Nothing close to the pictures. Run down outdated. Bar prices were triple then other places. AC shut off every night at 11pm. They refuse to give you a remote to the AC. Tv never connected to anything, cable or internet! Internet was very poor reception. Breakfast was great ! The hotel is overpriced! Dont waste your money or your time. Staff was un helpful and rude. The manager was very helpful but on our last day. 1st and last time in Puerto Rico!

The room pictured on Expedia that I booked and payed the extra money was not the room I got. Did not get any of the VIP benefits. No free drinks Did bring it to the attention to the attended and they had poor attitude. Did not resolved the issue. Do not recommended this place for the money you can stay in a better place.

Location, friendly helpful staff. The front desk girls were awesome, super helpful and nice. Beautiful building. The elevator was creepy and no air so not helpful for claustrophobic folks but other than that everything else was awesome.

Quaint old world hotel. Beautiful architecture. Loved the look and old world feel. I would definitely book an extended stay at the hotel. Old San Juan was beautiful. The bartender was amazing also!!

The decor and atmosphere is what I envision when I think of Old San Juan - wooden beams, windows, shutters. The location was great, walking distances to many restaurants, sightseeing attractions such as Castillo San Cristóbal. There is a bar downstairs but only open on certain days. The bar/restaurant upstairs on the terrace was not open. There is a pool on the terrace however we did not use it as the water looked murky. There was some sort of filtration system with pressure reading 0. So not sure if it was for the pool which would make sense and the reason for the murky water. If it was for something else, which I hope is not the case, then it may be a bigger issue. We stayed in the suite with king size bed and sofa with queen bed. While the room accommodates 4 people, we had to pay an extra $75 for linen to use for the sofa bed. Had we known, that cost could have went to another suite/room with 2 bedrooms and we may have paid around the same price. We also was pretty warm the first night as there is no way to adjust the air conditioner ourselves, the next day I spoke with the front desk and they came to our room with a remote control to adjust the air conditioner. She couldn’t adjust it and the air conditioner still had a read light on it so she had to call maintenance. We were told he’d be there in 10 minutes but an hour passed before someone eventually came and was able to rectify the problem. However the red light came back on overnight.

I stay at this property on a year and this was my first time staying on the renovated side. It was so great! I seriously love this hotel. It’s close to everything - Old San Juan, restaurants, shopping, etc. I never have any issues when I come and stay there. It’ll forever be my go to spot.

Great location and our 10 yr old granddaughter loved the small rooftop pool with views over Old San Juan. The staff was excellent and the attached bar was very nice. Only comments for improvement would be: no paper towels and toilet paper in guest bath downstairs off the lobby, very slow elevator, had to ask for sheets etc for pull-out sofa and the wonderful rooftop pool could use some tile repair. None deal breakers though. We loved it! Marta, Alfredo, Maria and the other staff were FANTASTIC !!!

Excelente localización para recorrer el Viejo San Juan. La terraza tiene una bella vista a la bahia. El área del desayuno es muy relajante además que el desayuno estuvo espectacular.

Rooftop sitting area was nice. The pool was tiny and filthy. Our king bes was so old that I felt like I was sleeping in a crater. Had to turm the mattress to get a semi flat sleeping space. The floors in our room still has spilled drinks from former guests. We were in a room for 4 people but were only given 2 towels and 1 washcloth. The front desk staff was amazing. Extremely helpful and great to talk to

Housekeeping was good. Good location, but structure is not well maintained. Room had a broken door, bathroom conditions were not good, windows are very noisy if theres a light breeze outside. The elevator is very small, takes a long time and theres no AC in the hallway or elevator. The room has wood on the ceiling and there were termite leftovers on the bed and desk. Staff had a sarcastic remark for every question we asked. Would not recomend this place.

Si te quedas aquí habrás tomado una buena decisión yo me quede una semana del 2 de junio al 8 y todo estuvo perfecto el personal que te atiende muy amables todos el aire y las regaderas funcionan muy bien estaba muy caliente afuera pero cuando llegaba a mi cuarto esté muy confortable la alberca en la terraza estaba muy cool todo me pareció perfecto la TV no trabajo muy bien pero lo demás me gusto bastante si voy a San Juan me volveré a quedar aquí sin pensarlo súper recomendable.. gracias hotel Terraza por todo

A little annoyed there was no microwave it was a weird smell the shower was warm the first day we arrived the tv wouldn’t work and we couldn’t control the AC . Everything else was okay
