Not as in good condition as other Embassy Suites. It was okay but just not as kept up as others. More amenities are coming as they say they are restarting the golf course and apparently building a bowling alley. They had a large pool table game room but we never could get in. Casino is right there. So are Pickleball courts but bring your own equipment. San Juan is a reasonable drive. However, the big issue you need to understand is that if you want to do the traditional PR activities (rain forest, bioluminescence tour, catamaran, they are all beyond San Juan. So like a 2 hour drive from the hotel. Doing this everyday was too much.

Its a nice little quiet place tucked within San Juan. Amazing staff and great service. Kudos.

2 days ago---Air conditioner not cooling real good, no soap, front desk not picking up the phone (called four different times), water in pool disgusting, cloudy and cannot even see your feet, spa real dirty and got dirty particles of floating material floating ton top of water, remote to first tv not working, had to change batteries myself, base gym entrance smells of mold, and there is a $14.50 daily charge for parking. Also wanted to add that both GAME ROOM and CASINO were not in working order. Paid for oceanview suite what I got instead was a view of the ceiling on the second floor. One front desk person told me that I could check in early but had to pay $55 dollars and when I should them my military disabled ID I was told to wait to 1:30pm to not pay anything. Then I go to the restroom for like 5 minutes, I come back to front desk and a gentleman asks for my ID, and I showed them the same disabled veteran ID and the gentlemam thanked me for my service and gave me complementary early checkin. My whole family felt discriminated. Worst customer service ever by any hotel I have stayed at before in my entire life. Hotel is overpriced and over rated. Would not recommend.

Excellent service and attendance. I love that it was amenable to disabled persons. Had a great time in paradise.

the property was unique bc it had beach in the back. the room was cleaned every 3 days, it wasn’t cleaned well. The rug was gross and so were the curtains

I like the feeling I got when I got to hotel. Lots of space, and greenery. Rooms were a little on the (I am used to more furniture and more light) but adequate. Birds sing, nice cool atrium in the middle with nice restaurant, and pool and coyfish. Nice views, nice golf course and pools. The public beach and swimming in the ocean is rough, not possible, but a short walk to the right to a lagoon, gets you to a deep place, where one can swim and snorkel. Maybe I'd want some entertainment option for the night? But we rented a car and drove to nearby town and saw dancing Rumba, and Salsa so it was fun. Next day we drove to San Juan.

We did not do anything at the property because there were nothing to do. The breakfast was ok they have the same food everyday. There were no fresh fruits I was expecting a variety of tropical fruits since I was on a tropical island. Overall it was ok.

To be quite frank I was bit disappointed in the property. It wasn't horrendous, but very meh. Thing felt very worn around the edges. I chose this property because other Embassy Suites I have stayed at were great. Examples of "worn around the edges". The plants in the big atrium were struggling to live (the skylight in the center has been covered so they got no light) things like the faux frost on glass dividers was peeling up. Our room seemed to be short on plugins, particularly between the beds exactly where you want them for phones and the ones that could be accessed we're so worn that our charging blocks didn't want to stay put. One of the elevators was out of service and one didn't display the floor numbers correctly ie display in elevator would say 7th floor and you'd be on the 3rd. Yes, all of these things are quite nit-picking but the accumulation annoyed me. Breakfast was just OK. The items on the buffet were often cold and unappealing. The guy cooking omelettes the first couple of days was great but the next person was miserably slow and the line to get one was nuts. The last morning we were there we ate later than usual and it was like a literal hoard of locusts had come through and things were not being refilled. The pool seed nice enough, I didn't spend much time there. The beach was more of a manmade inlet formed by massive breakwaters. Probably fine for young kids. My complaint was that one couldn't see past them while on the beach.

I liked that it was gated and beautiful grounds that I was able to walk/run in the morning. Pool area and beach access was awesome. Didn't like the fact they only came to your room every 3 days so everyday I had to ask for additional coffee packs for the room. I think they should give you the choice to clean every other day or put a tag on the door that you want your room serviced.

I didn’t like that the hotel doesn’t have a coffee shop or a snack shop.

They charged me when they did not provided me the service, horrible customer service and lack of customer satisfaction.

Parking

The hotel had a nice pool but the hotel was old. The elevator barely worked, the AC dripped and was moldy in our room and the beds were a disgrace. The mattresses were so worn I felt like sleeping in a hammock with constant back pain. The line was long at the reception and the personelle was arrogant and unfriendly. At arrival we were asked to pay additional taxes and hotel fees when we had already paid everything at Orbitz except for the $35 daily resort fee. We saw constantly random pending credit card charges from the hotel that could not be explained to us. The pool was super crowded on the weekend because locals were able to buy day passes to the resort. The only friendly people were the guys by the pool hut handing out towels and just being helpful and smiling. The pool bar had constant lines and the service was unfriendly and you received tiny drinks. The room was made once in 9 days „due to Covid“. Since Happy Hour was cancelled due to covid we were given 2 free drink vouchers for the pool park which closed at 7pm. There was nothing to do at the hotel after 7pm. You could take a $15 cab each way to the town. The hotel food was a disgrace as well. Pizza, burgers no healthier options. I got a $12.50 salad at the pool once and it was little, rotten black with one tomato. I returned that. The $14 salad inside the hotel was fresher but more like a side salad with one tomato again. The breakfast buffet was okay.

The rooms need to be upgraded. They’re old and broken. Overall the experience was great

I'm so happy I chose this hotel. I made a reservatiom before reading the reviews so when I read them I wanted to cancel and look for another place to stay. It's a great thing I didnt find another place on time because this stay was pretty amazing. The room was nice and clean, so where the amenities. You get free drinks (2 per person per day) which was nice. The breakfast was included and very good. The beach is perfect. Overall I really liked it and will be back.
