The hotel had a nice pool but the hotel was old. The elevator barely worked, the AC dripped and was moldy in our room and the beds were a disgrace. The mattresses were so worn I felt like sleeping in a hammock with constant back pain. The line was long at the reception and the personelle was arrogant and unfriendly. At arrival we were asked to pay additional taxes and hotel fees when we had already paid everything at Orbitz except for the $35 daily resort fee. We saw constantly random pending credit card charges from the hotel that could not be explained to us. The pool was super crowded on the weekend because locals were able to buy day passes to the resort. The only friendly people were the guys by the pool hut handing out towels and just being helpful and smiling. The pool bar had constant lines and the service was unfriendly and you received tiny drinks. The room was made once in 9 days „due to Covid“. Since Happy Hour was cancelled due to covid we were given 2 free drink vouchers for the pool park which closed at 7pm. There was nothing to do at the hotel after 7pm. You could take a $15 cab each way to the town. The hotel food was a disgrace as well. Pizza, burgers no healthier options. I got a $12.50 salad at the pool once and it was little, rotten black with one tomato. I returned that. The $14 salad inside the hotel was fresher but more like a side salad with one tomato again. The breakfast buffet was okay.

The rooms need to be upgraded. They’re old and broken. Overall the experience was great

I'm so happy I chose this hotel. I made a reservatiom before reading the reviews so when I read them I wanted to cancel and look for another place to stay. It's a great thing I didnt find another place on time because this stay was pretty amazing. The room was nice and clean, so where the amenities. You get free drinks (2 per person per day) which was nice. The breakfast was included and very good. The beach is perfect. Overall I really liked it and will be back.

Terrible service

This hotel was very disappointing. The hotel was very dark. The room was just sad looking and dirty. I tried to call the front desk for additional blankets could not get through. You could hear ppl running through the hallway and doors slamming. The tv in the living room did not work. It would turn on, freeze, then switch off. I spent one night at the hotel and changed to the San Juan Marriott Resort & Casino. The only positive review I can give was the restaurant across the way "The New York". The food was excellent.

Good hotel

The place is too expensive and old , this people don’t have enough staff members and you have to do one hour line for everything, too expensive for what you get

I love the pool and beach area, ocean view room was fantastic. Just would parking was included and also they should upgrade and get usb charging ports for devices.

Beautiful but needs renovations and upgrades

I didn’t like that the air really wasn’t working. It was so hot outside and even with the air on it was still hot. The taxis were so expensive and there weren’t any ubers around. The food wasn’t tasty

We went to break the year long monotony of Covid and to celebrate our birthdays. Customer service was less than genial. The size of the room that we rented for the week was move than sufficient for us, myself, daughter and granddaughter but the bathroom was not clean. the tub had a very slow drain. The blanket on the bed was not clean. We understand that housekeeping was to a minimum because of Covid but these issues were there before our arrival. Our room was on the third floor. there are two sets of two elevators which needs to be serviced. the elevators were slow to call and at times, they would randomly stop on any floor other than the chosen floor. There was/is no access to the stairs in the event you did not wish to take the elevators so we had to wait for poor moving elevators. There was a continental breakfast that was served. The breakfast taste and presented as microwave cooked food. However, it was the breakfast staff that was the friendliest. Even when spoken to first the staff was not warm or inviting. My daughter ordered room service. the quality of food was very poor and cold. She ordered food from the pool bar area, twice. the first time the food was cold and no flavor. the second time the young lady behind the bar made her get back in line to pick up her food that was paid for and she waited for. oh yes, the wait for this food was always long. The property is well maintained however the room we were was in bad condition. The bathroom had mold. We ended checking out earlier as the hotel was not able to accommodate us with another room. They did go and try to cover the mold but it wasn’t enough. Overall service in the on-site restaurant was a good. They need to fix their pool chairs. In addition, it will be good for them to think about the environment. The to-go breakfast was using a lot plastic bags.

Invest more in the facilitys and rooms ..............

I'm so happy I chose this hotel. I made a reservatiom before reading the reviews so when I read them I wanted to cancel and look for another place to stay. It's a great thing I didnt find another place on time because this stay was pretty amazing. The room was nice and clean, so where the amenities. You get free drinks (2 per person per day) which was nice. The breakfast was included and very good. The beach is perfect. Overall I really liked it and will be back.
