I used to go there for 32 years now isn’t the same

Absolute Great time!

Clean, nice view, easy access to beach, secure, all employees were kind and helpful. Really liked the latte at the cafe. Everything from restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations with in vicinity and we took a stroll even at 10pm at night. Oh and free parking. Definitely will recommend it.

Liked - great view from balcony Disliked - did not get king bed as requested

The renovated side is much better than the old one that we had, I liked the fact that we have a stove and fridge in our room

Will be staying here again

Please spend your money elsewhere. The outdoor amenities shown on all advertising is not factual! The pool is empty and everyone in the building complains constantly all of the permanent private owners that are condos gripe and complain about how long everything has been broken. The view they show you is looking towards EL San Juan hotel. The lobby looks cool and clean but this place is a dump. You will have to pay a resort fee of $200 and there are no amenities. With an empty pool.

Very run down, lots of construction unfinished and very old building, no wifi, no room service, no hotel amenities only Fried Food at the Pool

There was nothing unique are to like there .the service was horrible

Staff were great! Staff took ownership.

The staff was very helpful however, the room we booked was not available so they put us in another that was not updated. We didn’t have enough beds in the new room so they had to give us a roll away, that was in the middle of our living space. The next day our ceiling started leaking where one of the beds was located. They moved us to an original room that we book which was updated but less space. The beach access closes at 7:00 and pool closed at 6:00. If you wanted to go for an evening stroll on the beach you have to walk all the way around about a 10 minute walk. This was very frustrating when you book a beachside hotel, not to have access. They had breakfast available but was very pricey for a family of 5, $22.00 dollars for adults and 11.95 for 12 and under. This is not a very family friendly hotel.

Property was awesome. Food was great. Beautiful view.

At first glance, this property looks lovely. on closer inspection it is literally falling apart. The concrete on the outside of the main tower is crumbling exposing rusty rebar. Our room was quite large and bright and had a private patio area that opened to a walkway leading to the pool. However the room had no toilet paper or towels ... Instead, there were some dirty socks in the corner. The room had clearly not been vacuumed and the patio was strewn with cigarette butts. The fitted sheets were too small for the beds and pulled off in the night, which is totally gross. There was no phone either, so we had to go all the way to the front desk THREE times to ask for towels and toilet paper. We were obliged to pay a resort fee of $68 for use of the pool. Check-in time was 4pm and check-out was at 11am. The pool was open 11am-6pm, meaning that we had to pay $68 for at most 2 hours of pool time. Pool towels were not available at the pool. Instead we had to ask at the front desk and wait for them to be delivered to our room. As mentioned earlier, it took 3 trips to the front desk to get any towels at all, so we opted to "air dry" rather than miss our chance to swim. In the morning we bought coffees in the lobby cafe because, despite what the listing said, there was not in-room coffee. The cafe in the lobby was actually quite nice and clean and the service was excellent.

Misleading! While the website shows pictures of newly renovated areas of the hotel, When we checked into our room it looked like it hadn’t been updated since the 70s And we immediately checked out.

The bathroom was constantly stuffed, it also had a leak. The staff at the coffee shop, Cava, was rude to everyone. They would not serve coffee as requested, and would argue with customers. It was a terrible experience to close my vacation.

i don’t really recommend this place.. there were cockroaches in the refrigerator.. should I tell more ?

Greetings Lindsay, and thanks for providing us with feedback on your stay. Let us clarify a few details about your review. Nowhere in our advertising says we have a pool, not in the pictures, not in the text, not on our website or booking engines or social media. We have ocean view rooms and we have city view rooms like all hotels in the area and the rate you pay determines the view you get. The resort fee is the lowest in all Isla Verde and it is advertised everywhere as being 18% of your stay, not a flat fee of $200. We are just steps from the Isla Verde Beach, we have a bistro cafe and a lobby bar. We have a game room and a fitness center. We also offer free parking and free wifi. And we are located close to everything, including Restaurants, shops, pharmacies, supermarkets and just a few minutes from the international airport.

Greetings Jose and Thank You for taking your time to give us feedback about your stay. It is very important to us to learn your opinion. Let us clarify a few details. We have a warning everywhere related to our construction and renovation program. In no way does it interfere with the stay of the guests, since it is taking place inside the rooms being renovated and they have specific hours where they can make a limited amount of noise. We do offer WIFI on all of our rooms and in all public areas. As all hotels during the pandemic, we are not offering room service to any stay of less than 3 days, but we are just a call away from providing any service you need, at your request. The only amenity that is currently closed is the restaurant, but we do have a Pool Bar, a Coffee Shop, a lobby Bar, a renovated pool deck, a fitness center and direct access to the beach, as advertised. The menu on the Pool Bar is limited, but it offers a variety of items including burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, and we do offer a fried chicken tenders as an alternative.
