I booked on this site as a flight/hotel package. I specifically picked this hotel because it showed the ocean view rooms to have balconies. When we arrived at the hotel, they said they were completely out of rooms with balconies. Also, I needed to book directly with them b/c third party sites like this one has inaccurate information when booking. This was my birthday trip plus the room rates were very high not to be an all-inclusive hotel. The prices were at the all-inclusive level price point. The lobby bar area had okay music but it was so cold it was hard to enjoy yourself. The night club is only open Friday & Saturdays. You would think it would be free to enter but they charge hotel guess $40 each to enter. The music was not good and it was standing room only plus is was freezing. Didn’t know this until after paying the money so lost $80 b/c we were in and out. Good was just okay but the dessert was best thing we eat there. The beach was very windy and the waves were rough. It was Red Flag the entire time so we didn’t get in the water. The sun was mostly blocked by the building so not a lot of sun. If I ever go back, I will definitely stay in an AirBNB. The resorts with all the fees are not worth the money.

The check in process is so slow. The line to check in was long and they do nothing ahead of time to speed things up. Check in is at 4:00. Our room wasn’t ready until 6:30 PM. We asked for late check out to extend us the same courtesy but they said no, the card says check out is at 12 but they say check out is 11 or we will be charged a 1/2 day. The line to check in for breakfast is also EXTREMELY slow. Again, there were tables available but they need to check in on an iPad then look at a print out. We had breakfast included and I understand that they need to verify that but it was just slow for no reason. The music outside our pool over looking the pools was INSANELY LOUD. It sounded like a disco tech at 10:00 in the morning- WE ARE ON VACATION TO REST. It was over the top loud. Housekeeping turned our room over around dinner time and one night I put the sign on the please service our room and someone from house keeping turned it to “do not disturb”. I called the front desk but it was ALWAYS a busy signal no matter what time of day, the beach and pool service was amazing and the beach guys were so great and helpful getting our umbrellas and loungers. The beach is very small and the loungers are so close you can touch the person next to you. The front desk is unhelpful for anything. The customer service is extremely poor. They want to check you in late and expect you to leave early and basically don’t ask them anything. The casino was so fun.
