Our stay at the property itself was generally fine, but the post-checkout experience was extremely disappointing.After checkout, our group was accused of damaging framed artwork in the home and charged 1,500. We requested supporting documentation, including photos, repair estimates, and clarification regarding the value of the item, but did not feel the process was handled clearly or professionally.None of the guests in our group were aware of any damage occurring during the stay, and there were no parties or unusual activity at the property. Communication with the property manager became uncomfortable enough that I requested all further communication be handled in writing.We also contacted VRBO customer support multiple times seeking assistance and clarification, but ultimately felt there was little meaningful resolution provided through the platform.In the end, we paid the charge in order to close the matter and move on. Based on this experience, I would not stay at this property again.
