It was a good place to stay but at least it need small fridges to put drinks or something

Nice little spot but it’s lacking in everything. Definitely not like the pics. Not bad but not worth it either. No amenities at all and way too much upgrading is needed

Lots of mosquitos in the room. Few amenities, no parking, found roaches in my belongings... Not what I expected for the price.

First 2 days, no working TV & their response was, oh well. Had to move to a new room on 3 day with no assistance as I am a disabled senior which I informed them prior by requesting no stairs and the first room had multiple stairs. The second room had no stairs. I arrived at 3:30 pm and was told I have to wait till 4 pm for check in even though they were not busy and the room was available. I like the small usually quite INN setting that was prior a bed and breakfast Inn but the customer services really need to be worked on. I choose to use this place to help with the "rebuilding" of my homeland by contributing to the small enterprises/businesses. The Inn was not doing me a favor as this sometimes came across from staff. I would stay there again but they need to always ensure each room is as listed with working air conditioning and television. It is NOT my job to be an IT and trouble shoot the non working TV.

Great walking access to local restaurants, culture and traditional plaza life at La Placita.

First of all, our booking was for a hotel called Casa del Caribe. When we called to get the address of Casa del Caribe we were informed that our reservation had been changed to their sister location called El Canario Boutique Hotel. If Yelp allowed negative stars I would give El Canario Boutique at least a minus 3. A lot is wrong with this place. The room photos they show on yelp look NOTHING like the room we had. Our room barely had room to fill the full bed (not a queen). The shower curtain and front door had mold. The decorative pillows on the bed were filthy. We asked for an iron and we were told they were out of irons at the moment. We were offered a blow drier instead?!?! There was no telephone in the room. And when we realized there were no bath towels and washcloths, we called the front desk (from our cell phone) to get some sent up and were told that housekeeping was closed for the day (around 4pm) and would not be returning until 10am the next day. AVOID BOTH OF THESE PLACES AT ALL COSTS!!!

The room was not clean and bugs were all over the bathroom

Very old. Needs major updating. After 5pm, YOU have to get clean towels from another hotel 1 block away. Never emptied our trash. No one at the desk to help you. We had to call the other hotel for info. Walls were cracked in the b/r, so we had tiny bugs all the time. The ocean was about 2 blocks away, so this was really nice. No cafe or continental breakfast. I would not stay here again.

We were looking for a low cost place to call home base while we spent our days exploring San Juan and the rest of Puerto Rico. The casa caribe was perfect for that. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely friendly. They helped us navigate the city, gave awesome dining suggestions, assisted in day tours, and answered all our questions about Puerto Rico. Again, the staff was incredible. As far as the facilities, you get what you pay for. It's not the Marriot. It is, however, an easy place to get in an out of. It's location is near the expressway for easy access, and just a block from the beach, restaurants, and clubs. Thank you Casa Caribe and staff. Your information was invaluable and helped us have an amazing time in Puerto Rico!

I must say when I decided to extend my stay and this place was all I could find I was a bit apprehensive. Let me just say it's now my private little get away. I had the suite and for the money it's unbeatable. I could have slept 7-8 people comfortably add the kitchenette and it's a home away from home.

I went to Casa del Caribe Inn looking for relaxation near the beach. I received that and much more. The staff were pleasant the room cozy and quiet exactly what I was looking for. I had a great time and would stay there again. Thank you all, God bless,

Close to everything that I needed and wanted. Very friendly people, willing to help in any way. They will even protect your room key, if your going out partying, and make sure you get to bed when you get back. I love this place. I will always stay here in the future!

ITS IN A VERY NICE PLACE, WHERE EVERY THING IS AT...I REALLY ENJOY OUR STAY..STAFF WAS VERY GOOD AND HELPFUL..I WOULD RECOMMEND IT .AND WOULD GO AGAIN..PRICES ARE GOOOODDD..

Hotel close to everything the only thing is the parking we park about 3 blocks from.tbe hotel n pay about 10 daily overall was ok for the price

The hotel was very nice and clean. The gentleman on site was very helpful with information about area, bus and taxi service. The beach was nearby as stated and we enjoyed the day. We could have used another towel but overall the place was beautiful. We had a very nice area to sit while we waited to get into our room and a very safe place to stay.

Nice hotel ,friendly staff, vlise to everything n clean

No pool no parking and not any amenities...restaurants close by very expensive . Staff at a minimum !! It's just a room for a lay over quick stay that's it!!!!!

Small hotel, excellent price very comfortable beds, very clean, pretty good continental breakfast, great location.

My husband and I stayed at Casa Caribe for a couple of nights while honeymooning in San Juan. We loved everything about this B&B. The small size of the property was exactly what we were looking for on our relaxing time in Puerto Rico. The location is perfect, right around the corner from the beach, within walking distance to countless restaurants, shopping, and we even walked to Old San Juan from here. Thank You for an authentic Puerto Rican experience.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our hotel. Rest assured we are listening to our guests' comments and suggestions and all will be taken into consideration for future possibilities. We are in a great location with many places within walking distance, to include supermarket, movie casinos, gourmet deli, banks, bars, hospitals, pharmacies, North beach and restaurants -and only a 10-15 minutes drive to everything San Juan! We also have a .75 cents bus stop steps from our hotel's front door which takes you just about everywhere and while we are not a five star resort, we do offer great value for an Inn type boutique hotel with a seductive atmosphere and warmth. We do look forward to welcoming you again should your travels bring you back to our beautiful city and we thank you very much for your business. Hope to be able to welcome you back.

Thank you for your review. We are a small inn that offers simple amenities, located in the heart of Puerto Rico's touristic adventures. Our guests park in the surroundings or at Marriott's Resort parking lot with a special discount just because you are staying with us. Our exterminator comes every week to keep away these undesired visitants. Mosquitoes are very common in the Caribbean and sometimes it is impossible to control them all. We will take your feedback to improve our service. Take care.
