It was exactly what you would expect of a Motel 6, though I was also pleasantly surprised about the gated parking. This was critical since we were moving my son to LA and had a car full of his belongings. If you're trying to get in and out, the location is perfefct--next to a gas station and near a McDonald's for a quick breakfast. Being right next to I-5 is both convenient and very loud at night.

We had our dog so we got a back room facing the freeway so it was super loud, bring earplugs! No coffee or breakfast. Security parking gate wasn’t closed all night, we got there at midnight and gate was open. Lots of homeless out in streets, but that wasn’t a problem. Front desk lady was being friendly but over talking when I just wanted to get in my room.
