Not a good value. Room was very small. Dirty dishes in the hall way. Heater was loud and not very efficient.

I have no major complaints that would deter me from staying here again. The location within walking distance to Old Town was great since we didn't rent a car and wanted to go out at night. There were just a few things that keep me from a 5 star rating, however nit-picky they may be. 1. There was no mini-fridge in the room which was disappointing. We ate out every day and couldn't take back leftovers nor could we buy a few staples to keep around so we didn't have to eat out every meal. 2. The room with a king bed had outlets only on one side which was frustrating when sharing the bed and wanting to charge electronics bedside for two people. Definitely not a huge deal, just a little annoying. 3. When we checked in and staff asked if we were parking a vehicle I told them multiple times there would be only 1 night we would have a rental car parked in the ramp. When it was time to checkout I was charged for parking for every night of the stay. I was able to prove we only had the car 1 night and was refunded the money so again, not a huge deal, just annoying more than anything. Overall I would stay here again if I found a similar price package through a travel company. PS. The bed was super comfy and I wanted to steal a pillow it was so perfect ;)

We had a room on the 8th floor. Everything looks aged but kept clean. The wall is like paper thin, we can hear TV from our neighbor, people walking by/talking in the hallway, not to mention the freeway/highway noise which is already loud during date and become worse at a quiet night. This is the loudest hotel room I have ever stayed.

So, after a horrible experience with my reservations at Extended Stay, I had Orbitz contact Holiday Inn to see if they could switch my 2 rooms to Holiday Inn. I was on hold for a bit with Orbitz, so I called directly while still on hold with her and Seth answered and confirmed he was actually speaking to them, but to go ahead and come on over and he'd help us out. He advised me he was closing out the previous night (because it was now after 3am...after a 8 hr drive from LA & spending 1 hr at Extended Stay trying to get our reservations fixed), but to head over. We hop back in our cars & make the 10 minute drive. As we walk in, I ask for Seth & I hear him answer from the other end. He was just finishing up the close-out & got us checked in right away. He was able to get us side-by-side rooms (7 ppl), which was not extremely important to us by this time, but was greatly appreciated. Rooms were clean, stocked and beds comfy...although I probably could have slept on bricks by this time and with my level of frustration with Extended Stay. We awoke to only find 1 coffee cup, but my boyfriend went downstairs and they sent someone right up with more. My sisters room next door was also clean & comfy and stocked well. I have stayed here twice before for different family events & both additional times have been great as well. Next time I will not second guess myself and just go ahead and book with HI the first time around. Thanks again Seth for saving our night!

This place was BIZZEEE when we arrived! But in spite of that, and the construction cones in the parking lot, we were taken care of fast and friendly! Great bar with nice food. The room was spacious and clean. Close to Old Town Sac and the new Event Center! That's it! I would definitely recommend.

Like: - staff, for the most part - location - breakfast & restaurant staff Dislike: - some furniture in room didn't fit - office chair very uncomfortable and wrong height for desk/table thing - no outlets near bed - staff person tried to deliver complimentary snack but pounded not knocked the door, and didn't announce himself. Very strange. - shower diverter dripped. Annoying noise - no mini fridge for my leftovers

We picked to this hotel because we were going to a concert at the golden one arena and this hotel was the perfect location to be able to walk safely. Also this hotel is very close to old town Sacramento within walking distance

Hotel within 2 blocks of train station old sac and golden one center and Starbucks

To begin, you may pay $24/night for valet parking or use the parking garage and pay 1/2 that per night. Secondly, check-in staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel dining very convenient and somewhat affordable.

Hotel has minimal amenities. Restaurant food is overpriced and tasteless. Airline food would be better. Desk chair in room is far too low (unless you like a desk at chin height....) Rollers on chair are not suited for carpet, so it is difficult to position chair. (Carpet rollers have to be ball type, not cylinder type. Holiday Inn opted for the cheap roller (cynlinder) so chair has to be lifted and dragged into place.)

This location is great for games or events at the new Golden 1 center and the downtown area of Sacramento. The bed sucks, the size of the bathroom was small. You're paying for location. Golden 1 Center is 1 block away and historical downtown is right next to it, with tons of food and bar options. Parking is a fee, if you have a large Truck or lifted vehicle you have to valet or else you're truck won't fit in the parking garage. I booked this room through orbitz and they double charged my card, if I hadn't noticed they would have just left it. Overall, 220$ for the room was excessive it's a room I shouldn't have paid more than 150$ for.

Perfect place to stay if your going to events at new Golden 1 Arena, lots of restaurant options and walking distance to old Town.

The valet staff they were very helpful and friendly . It took a really long time to check in there was one person in front of me. And when I went to check out it took even longer there was only one person in front of me it was extremely slow and frustrating . Wish the bar had a happy hour. But other than that I would recommend a hotel right location .

Nice location, decent rooms. Sort of pricy for a holiday inn but nice.

It was a good hotel, just very busy, our check in time was at 3pm, but we arrived a little early to check in but our room wasn't ready, we ended up waiting hour and a half!

This hotel is 8 blocks from the capitol West Steps and footsteps from a Macy's store. There is a restaurant in the building, which is ok offering current and popular fare.

Staff was fantastic, polite, helpful. Location was perfect. Easy walk to marathon start at Raley field. Amenities...no fridge in room and oddly, no liners in trash cans. Otherwise, room was clean and comfortable.

There were bugs in the room, and couldn't rest. The staff wouldn't compensate me for my one night stay being I had to fly out the next morning.

I was very comfortable great pillows The staff was excellent

Pretty decent hotel with average rooms and amenities. However location is awesome and very close to old Sacramento. Plenty of things to do and eat in the area.
