The room was clean and comfortable except for the desk chair. It was very heavy and hard to move. It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in the room for leftovers and drinks. The food at the Cafe Bernardo was excellent for breakfast and dinner. Watching the hockey game on the wall in the bar was really fun!

Did not have breakfast. Nila (spelling?) at the front desk in the evening was super welcoming and helpful; a real highlight of my stay/experience. I also appreciate the reservations person I spoke to about room location; he explained the pros and cons of the front (freeway facing) and back sides of the hotel, so I was able to choose the quieter side (and on the 4th floor was igh up enough to have a bit of a view). The chairs in the room are hard and the desk chair in particular is very uncomfortable. It's also unusual these days to hae a desk that does not adjust in height. I could not sit in the desk chair for more than an hour and kept alternating between the arm chair (more comfortable, but too low) and the desk chair. The fact that parking is in a public garage and not secure was not at all clear in teh descripton of the hotel, and is a major disadvantage, especially for a solo woman traveller and someone who had additional plans and therefore items that needed to stay in the car. The location of the hotel is very mixed - capitol mall moving away from the freeway is nice and feels pretty safe, but 28th st and N street do not.

Love this hotel overall for business. Clean and modern with great food and super friendly staff. Only small drawback is depending where your room is, it can be a little noisy and there is not a mini fridge in every room. Otherwise, great place to stay in midtown Sacramento!
