Came up north on a business trip. Stayed at this location for 1 night. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile and small talk. Right after check-in they gave us a glass of Rosé.
The bell service helped us up to our room. He was great, but unfortunately the room was visibly dirty. There were stains on the floor, marks in the bathroom, and the curtains were stained also. We went to dinner and came back to hop in bed — the sheets were stained. Called guest services and reported this issue. They offered us to move rooms or have housekeeping come. Of course we moved rooms. The second room was slightly better but was still not clean. We actually slept on top of the bed, on top of the duvet cover with another duvet from housekeeping (took 20+ minutes and 2 phone calls for them to bring an extra blanket and towels). The noise level of the room was horrible however, 8 floor up and you can hear all the noise from outside — ambulances, police, etc.
I really appreciated the front desk’s kindness and can-do attitude but overall I’d honestly give this hotel 3.2out of 5 stars as it really didn’t meet the standard for basic cleanliness you’d expect at a 4 star IHG property.
