Everything i couldn't ask for anything better It was very romantic
This was a very nice find perfect location and fantastic room.
This historic (you'll want to read about it) house in Sacramento has been turned into a delightful B&B facing onto a park. We didn't get a chance to sample the breakfast -- we had set up a breakfast with family elsewhere -- but we were greeted with two excellent complementary glasses of wine upon our arrival. Booking directly with the property brings a free breakfast; otherwise it costs an additional $15 apiece. And we found that our first floor room was a bit noisy with a guest above who seemed to be doing laps from 7 am to 8 am. The manager said that, yes, second floor rooms were sometimes a bit quieter. We will return. The host was gracious and the other guests interesting.
I will definitely be going back. Staff we excellent and the room was amazing.
My husband and I had to drive to Sacramento for business. After a six hour drive, we arrived here unsure of what to expect. We were greeted by the owner, who was very friendly and helpful. He made us feel at home right away. Throughout our stay all of the staff went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. The building is older and very charming, furnished with cute antiques-including a beautiful relocated bar that is a few hundred years old! Our room was large, with a comfortable bed and a large wall-mounted flatscreen. We had access to reliable wifi and were surprised to find there was a Netflix account for us to use. Breakfast was tasty and filling, worth the additional cost. We enjoyed our stay, and will be staying here again next time we're in Sacramento!
The Inn keeper was very friendly and personable! Check-in was quick and easy, and the property was well-kept and had lots of charm! We stayed in the "Dream" room and it had an individual air conditioning unit, which made it perfect for controlling the warm Sacramento weather!
Only thing to be aware of is that breakfast isn't included, but costs $15/person extra. Otherwise, excellent. Outstanding hotel.
Room and balcony were beautiful. We checked in late, but were met at the door by the owner, Kyle, who helped us in and gave us complimentary glasses of wine at the gorgeous carved wood bar. Breakfast was great too, and is included in the price. An unexpected delight in Sacramento.
Beautiful old home, converted to hotel. Pretty well executed. Bed was very comfy, room was pleasant. But: hair on my pillow, slow drain in sink, and the lowest water pressure in the shower I have ever experienced--probably because when you pulled up the pin to get the shower to come on, it still leaked water at the faucet, AND it leaked where the shower head connected to its hose. I needed to wash my hair and it was difficult as it was hard to even wet my hair through. There's a drought, this kind of thing seriously needs to be fixed for water conservation purposes, if not for guest comfort.
